There appear to be so many explanations as to how the Macedonians came to be. It seems the modern day Macedonians identify with the ancient Macedonians (i.e. Alexander the Great) and yet the modern day Greeks call the ancient Macedonians (Greeks) their own (Alexander the Great). However, neither the Macedonians or Greeks believe that they are related to each other and don't appear to be but they appear to share many similarities to Bulgarians.

@BERZITI И за крај нико грцима није дао ништа, кроз цео 19 век је циљ српског ширења био Солун и то није успело па је македонија подељена јер је само тако могло доћи до савеза. Шта је после било са Егејским Македонцима позната је и страшна прича

@jovanbabunski - u vreme Balkanskih ratova Srbi su bili veca vojna sila od Grka ! da niste bili vi i Bugari gramzivi da otimate Makedonsku zemlju , ne bi se danas Grchki cigani bashkarili u Solunu , vec bi to bio Makedonski glavni grad shto je i oduvek bio , i bio bi Porta Balkana , najvece pristanishte za sve slovenske narode na Balkanu !

@BERZITI Ја ником ништа не намећем и у потпуности се слажем да су Македонци данас засебан народ који ја јако волим и поштујем и желим му све најбоље. Али то не значи да са те позиције ви можете ретроспективно стварати историју и негирати да је ИКАДА у мак. било аутохтоних Срба и тврдити како су ту одувек постојали самосвесни македонци . When you want to deny the name of Republic of Macedonia and stealing of Greek ancient history that is your duty, but dont try to represent us Serbs from Vardar as Bulgarians with this kind of linguistic falsifications.

HAHAHAHAH I am from Serbia and this translation is Funny, please dont cheat and falsificate. Almost every serbian word here is written incorrectly, or is just used other unrelated word or synonym. You can fool American or Greek but you cant fool Serbs and Makedonians

I can also see that there is a YT war between FYRM and Gre, and that in war nobody cares about the facts, people just wants to believe in "truth" that suports their political views.Serbian words in this clip are just WRONG and that is a fact not my political judgement.

Maybe you dont know but Skopje was medieval Serbian capital and this hole story about the Macedonian nationalism and name dispute is American game to disunite Orthodox countries, and to make Great Albania easy job. Nort Epirus, Western Vardar Macedonia, Kosovo and Metohia.Trust me although you hate Fakedonians most, tomorrow you will be on the same side.

YOUR SERBIAN TRANSLATION REALLY SUCKS. the Serbian word for: To Breathe = DISATI, Dear = Drag, Mio, Mil (as a root word), postovan means with respect, incapable = nesposoban, bezvredan means pitiful or shoddy, we have nedostojan meaning unworthy and flawed, Opposite =oprečnost, nasuprot, suprotnost, Order = zapovest, But = A, No, Ali, Iako, Osim......and so it goes with the rest

Macedonian is really an old Serbian dialect that got a bit influenced by the Grammars of Greek. It is a well known fact.
