Loomis may be the best ''overall'' gyuitar player right now..when you combine feel,speed/accuracy and most importantly (and most subjectively) songwriting.

His tunes have epic drama, soul and serious intensity (see Nevermore as well)...makes me feel the same way I did when I first heard Becker and MacAlpine back in 89..except Jeff has superior rythym playing to both
