  • Thank you Thank you Thank you..I'll go to bed and dream this now......thank you

  • nice video :

  • woho ! it was realy hypnotist and touching !

  • more sand! more cowbell!

  • Magnificent. How would you explain how he is being helped to create this magnificent work of art???? IN awe. <3

  • So nobody realized this guy is smoking a joint ?

  • @mertkarkasss no he isn't...it's a rollie...most kiwis roll their own cigarettes, tailor-mades are way more expensive.

  • Wonderful!

  • Aaaah, but you are wrong. Even though the tide comes in and washes it away .... it's not destroyed because too many people come from all over the world to see him work. So, if that is the case NOTHING he creates can ever truly be destroyed.

  • This man is sent to remind us all to stop.....take a look around at all the splendor abounding you. There is not one horrid bone in his body and shame on the supposed "Christian" that said those bad things. I thank this man for making me take time out of my life to remember NOT to take it all so seriously and to enjoy life....that's what he's done for me. Thank you immensley.

  • Sometimes life is imagination...

  • I can see the magic in creating something so beautiful and knowing it will be destroyed. You are one in a million.

  • What a pure talent - very similar to the mental attitude of butoh dancers to life - enjoy, respect, express with all of yourself with a much purity as possible - Freo chick Rach Kutsik - catch me on Twitter

  • Namaste. Ahhhhhhhhhhh. Namaste.

  • thank you for sharing this wonder and beauty- just what i needed right now

  • amazing! same like aboriginals make art talking about perspective. they are mapping the landscape in they're mind visioning it from above ;)

  • inspiring....very beautiful ....must be see

  • Beautiful in every way--and whoa doin that takes a bit of energy & fitness.....in the sand...hehhee how gorgeous

  • even his bike is cool as

    I WANT THAT BIKE!!!

  • Spirit Lives ... Inspiring life with his enthusiasm. Special the man he is. Thank you

  • So, what beach can I go view his work at?

  • @nmg70nmg

  • What great work! And there is something so refreshing and magnificent when the sea comes in and washes it all away.

  • inspiring, amazing, enlightening, Thank you.

  • Clearly a gift from an age long ago. He is truly re-membering.his true self. This is magnificent work!

  • Pure artist.

  • Really? You people LIKE this stuff? WHY??

  • @calhuntermedia why don't you like it?

  • @calhuntermedia it's not the work itself, or the artist, but rather what the process represents. I interpret it as a representation of human lives, we get to spend a short time on this planet and after that we are dead and "washed away". However, that doesn't mean we can't create something beautiful in the mean time and after we are gone, people can use the same "canvas" and create something beautiful as well. People find it intriguing because it means something different for everybody

  • such talent

  • See what humans are capable of when they are connected?....pure brilliance.

  • A beautiful testament to pure artistic ability. I have tremendous respect for you, sir. Great job!

  • wordenfulllllllllll

  • loveee this

  • ❤ :)

  • A free spirit, living in the moment! Fantastic.

  • It is such a JOY to SEE you here on the world wide web dearest Peter!! So many Saturdays, I loved to watch you every time when I was in Christchurch, New Zealand. I loved making photo's for you as you asked several times and I loved spending time with you having a drink together. So much love and appreciation for you!!!!! xxx Chantri (former Kara)

  • Phantastic!!!

  • Interesting....just proves that ART can be found anywhere using anything and can be created by anyone...Keyword here is CREATIVITY....and this man has it...IN ABUNDANCE...We all have a gift to share with the world.......why not show case it....Because you never know who may take notice.

  • As temporal as an Ice Sculpture, and fleeting as the wind, like a melting moment where only the memory remains, the sand artist shares his vision, seeing only the result mirrored in eyes of the onlookers. xx

  • Brilliant! =)

  • How does he make those perfect circles, ovals, squares and wavy lines, so perfectly spaced apart and proportioned? Better than a spider's web. And the ground level perspective. Someone asked if he was the "crop-circle guy!" What genius. It defies understanding.

  • Wonderful!

  • A magnificent free spirit !

  • 3:01 <3 <3 <3 "What is it? ... Sand!" <3 <3 <3

  • Y'know what this needs?

    Needs more sand.

  • Very cool! Loved the story of the "Christian" dude who found himself surrounded by God's creative pulse and couldn't handle it. :D

  • Dislike ? Really ? GTFO, you obviously can't handle the awesomeness.

  • Why can't I buy Tahi Richards sunshine down on itunes?

  • Really touched my heart. Thank you for your art. Also a wonderful video production of it, complete with beautiful music. You evoked tears from me eyes. Again, thank you.

  • Awesome, I feel like I've known this guy for an eternity :)

  • just beautiful in and out!!!! bravo to the expression of love!!

  • does no other musician watching this recognize that this song is almost a direct copy of the FFX theme song "At Zanarkand" with an altered melody

  • The taste of freedom....real freedom.

  • love, love, love.....

  • Picasso of the sand......

  • You are simply AMAZING!! this is so using your multidimensional abilities!! you are so connected to your higher self it blows my mind! keep on keeping on!! such a wonderful soul you are and thank you for your contribution in the development of our NEW earth! In love, light, and gratitude! xo

Really love it.Thanks for sharing it with us.Thanks :-)

  • The Angels work through you sir.

  • A gift

  • Lets all join those who are very very very ignorant and think these were made by aliens. It makes sense to think so since alien means something that is unknown to us therefore this man that I don't know is an alien. Ignorant humans.

  • LOVE ! LOVE! LOVE! what you are doing! You remind me of watching my own son (years ago before life knocked us down for a bit)! I have seen the joy of being playful and allowing our creative energies to flow through us like the ocean tide. This was a fantastic video - and send you much love : light : endless joyful adventures from TN. Thanks @willowtable for sending the link! GREAT find! Thumbs up! Favorited! Subbed the channel & love what you are doing! deZengo

  • Search on Facebook for... Peter Donnelly, Sand Artist

Peter's Group page with photos, and short videos of Peters works of art

    Blessings to All

  • i didn't give this a thumbs down, but the buddhists may perhaps dislike this.. as this activity probably disrupts, injures and/or kills thousands of tiny insects and little bugs living on the beaches. i don't care if i get negative comments; the truth is the truth.

  • @Myaucat hello, interesting comment, and what do the buddhists do while walking the streets, or while preparing food?

are they always praying for forgiveness for drowning and stepping on the insects and tiny micro-organisms?

I am certain that the Buddhist don't intentionally kill or harm any living organism, is that correct?

But, one can not state that Peter is intentionally disrupting, injuring, or killing anything.

know the man before u cast judgement

  • @Rioghannnz please explain to me, if you can, how exactly did i cast judgement on Peter? are you denying that this activity disrupts, injures or kills any insects or "bugs"? by stating a simple fact of REALITY, i am casting judgment? did i even use the word "intentionally"? causing UNNECESSARY harm through ignorance is not any better than by intent. the buddhists do not GO OUT OF THEIR WAY to harm or kill any living creatures. you seem to have a difficult time discerning between NEED and WANT.

  • @Myaucat

my apologies sir, u did not cast judgement. my bad.

but your comment is total bollocks to me.

Perhaps we should ask the Dalai Llama, he is visiting our quake stricken city as we speak.

  • @Myaucat you wish you had halve as much to offer

  • @MrLunithy to offer? no, i do not WISH to *offer* ANY injury or destruction of other life forms, if I can help it. It doesn't matter how "beautiful" we perceive an artwork to be, if it is created through unnecessary injury or destruction of living beings (no matter how small and "insignificant" WE perceive those beings to be).

  • @Myaucat OH so you don't breath or shit or eat ... we all live in delusion just some more than others and you my friend are living a rather big one, so try not to hide behind priestly claims.

Get down that beach and tell him in person instead of showing the world how ugly you can be towards other people.

  • @MrLunithy you either do not know how to read, or do not know how to comprehend, what you read. I do not wish to cause injury or destruction of living beings, IF I CAN HELP IT. it doesn't matter how beautiful we perceive an ARTWORK to be, if it is created through UNNECESSARY injury or destruction of living beings. Now, please explain to me, how breathing, eating and defecating, are UNNECESSARY ARTWORKS. By speaking in defense, of those who cannot defend themselves, is not being ugly.

  • @Myaucat haha you're a fag

  • Talves sus obras estan en la arena unos minutos u horas, pero se quedaran en mi memoria ( y en Youtube) para siempre!!!

    WOW

  • It is said that people are born with it ……but who could of seen you were born to draw in the sand !

    This is Incredible

  • Sand dancer rules the shore!

  • What a unique ability to be able to "see" the perspective at ground level. I wonder how many people have unique visions like that - and how many act on them?

  • How much Crack does this guy smoke?

  • To see the Universe in a grain of sand, beautiful man :)

  • 8 are sandcrabs...

  • Sublime...just sublime

  • Bravisimo for this pure Art!!! Thank you so much for your love and magic <3

  • wow fucking cool

  • He should write on the bottom of every Art job. " Everything Fades "

  • Amazing!!!

  • What you have accomplished Peter contributes so much to the healing of humanity. I'm a musical artist who's soul has been inspired and lifted up by you're egoless art. Thank you. Merci! Peace from Pierre. CircleOfTheEarthdotCom

  • fairplay to that super freak :)

  • Search Roy Sproule To see art in Pheonix

  • @fsfs9521

Roy Sproule seems pretty cool, but you're comparing apples and oranges, and you aren't even spelling Phoenix right!

  • @2L1PS

you may be right but at least I can spell oranjes!!!! Silly guuse

  • that dude reminds me of myself when I was young--except my beach was vastly cooler than that one

  • @BlankUberAlles wuupps, forgot, he is very fine artist and I'm not.

  • Very cool, I met Peter over a week ago as he arrived at Brighton to start his image number 301.2011 what an amazing guy.

  • The Present is all we truly have...thank you :)

  • it boggles my mind how he does this without any planning tools. if I tried this, it would come out looking misproportionate and such. incredible.

  • I remember one time I raked a perfect square in the sand. And then I stepped out of it and thought nothing of it, unlike Peter who saw a whole lot more... fabulous!

  • Someone should set up a webcam to post a picture of what he does every day...

  • "What it is?" .... Sand!

This speaks epic truth from ageless wisdom...

When we see that the ring is at its essence gold

we see that essence of the person is consciousness

and we see all beings as essentially one!

What is it? Yes, so brilliant, it is Sand!

    Thank you so!

  • Lovely

  • How could anyone "dislike" this beautiful genius?!

  • @faerietaleredux it was the Christian who wiped out his art! oh and his friends ;)

  • Atrakcyjne i niezwykłe-moze wyzwanie dla jakiegoś pasjonata w SOPOCIE!

  • Splendido!

  • Awesome!

  • Amazing! This is great!

  • The 6 dislikers are Christians with growths all over their faces.

  • @mzrealm Hang on! I'm a Christian and I live in the "eternal moment"...Now...is the only moment that EVER touches eternity! I'm a true-blue bible-believing christian and I LOVE this guy's work!! It's true, NOW is all we have! not yesterday or tomorrow, but this moment!! I am also a huge sand-fan. I have moving sand-pictures all over my house., turn them over every day, then watch the beautiful patterns they make. I'm also a big fan of the work of Klaus Boesh. look up his work on youtube!
