Skyrim - Fighting a Draugr Deathlord

ive only ever been seriously beaten by one of these guys. the only reason was that he had an ebony bow that took away 3/4 of my health.

i just save before fighting them assholes. i have a hard time finding my weapon when they disarm me. such bullshit. i guess i should just use weaker weapons so i don't lose the good ones then.

i was thinking of a quest for the stormcloaks to get the jagged crown. that asshole kept disarming me very annoying trying to find my weapons. i just spammed unrelenting force against him and his idiotic followers to put themonto the ground to hack and slash them for a while.

There is a rock ledge to the left right before you enter his lair. I just hid and shot arrows at him, lol.

i got so lucky fighting these two guys. the first guy that was killed in this video stepped over the edge and fell down the hole. the guy thats down in the hole got trapped behind a rock on the floor.

The only difficult enemy for me are the Elder dragons an centurion masters, dragon priests are easy for some reason.

the part before we slay alaudin, the greatest dragon in the game... THAT PART IS AWEFULL !!!!!

there is like.. 10 draugr sourges, 6 deathlords, and one overlord !

later in the quest, you get 4 deathlords on you at once, and all are using evony battleaxe .. i was level 24 wen i tried.. in the end i yust Fos-ro-DAAAAAH every draugr off a cliff ! effecive :)

Im levl 24 and this guy killed me like three times when I used weapons.

However, keep distance, use dualcast fire and a load of magika potions:

I burned him to "death" and he never hit me once; took some thought and use of tunnel helped

I had to lower the difficulty for this guy, and I ran out the opposite way so I didnt have to kill his friend at the bottom of the hole, but I eventually went back and killed his friend, their weapons are awesome

I got a tip for u, if u havnt already goto the companions and become a werewolf, its reallly helpfull when u learn to control it. My brother and i just destroyed 1 in 5 seconds with it lol. It just keeps nocking it down then u become victorious lol

btw, whenever possible, just Fus Ro Dah them off a cliff or into a pit.

I've done that twice with those overlord/deathlord guys. Easy kills, easy ebony weapons

I ran across him at lvl 15 with my high elf mage... the bastard gave me a hard time. 15 attempts later I managed to kill him using a combination of flames, flame atronach, and also lydia working as arrow bait

you can kill him easily by going to trap door he wont come there and then use your bow and shouts to kill him, if he makes u you drop your bow just hurry pick it up and get again to trapdoor etc. I managed to kill him when I was lvl 9.

You could've healed by levelling up, you know.

Anyway, I just had to fight one of these things in Saarthal (at level 17). It was wielding a goddamn Honed Ancient Nord Battle Axe. Died in my first two or three attempts, then I tried using flames more often w/ a hit-and-run technique. Just ran up the stairs, burned him, jumped down from the ledge, repeat XD. Didn't even have to heal (although he did hit me a few times)

Got my stealth to 100 and my Archery to around 70 I think and kept using the Throw Voice shout to literally TROLL HIS ASS TO DEATH! x'D I just love trolling Draugr.

@brandon017 I didn't find this guy as troublesome, it seems when it comes to experiencing difficulty, the player's level and gear plays a big role. I remember getting one shotted by magic users since my health was low at < lvl 10. But now this game seems too easy sometimes at lvl 30+ on expert difficulty.

In the guest proving honor you have to beat 8 of those at once in addition to like 10 draugr/restless draugr/draugr wight. I completed it on master first attempt.

You do understand that when you level up you instantly heal up 100% right? You could level up so I would have used that advantage instead of using all your health potions.

forgot to mention for some reason "barbas" doesn't get kill or damaged at all. neither did i since I stayed far away. it took about a minute to kill.

easy kill for me i have "barbas the dog" who did all the killing I just stepped in to do the final blow for soul trap. i stood at the entrance before going up the stairs and barbs had him cornered by the stair . didn't let the deathlord move at all and I just did a frost spell from far away untill the final blow... easy kill...maybe a glitch ..

I had trouble with the one in saathral excavation, the two handed deathlord was a bitch to take down, started with bow, then used flames/frost while potion spamming, when i was on my last reserves of potions and mana, used whirlwind sprint past the lighting traps, heading my way down to the puzzle area. knowing that it was do or die, I turned into a werewolf and strafe attacking it, sending it flying across the place till it died, after the ordeal, I was down to 30% health. On adept but still...

Yeah, I got here at like level 7. My strategy, Shoot an arrow, maybe shout some fire, run away like a panzy, and then repeat that until he dies. Second one, I just stayed on top of the pole.
