  • I like how Kevin Spacey is in 2 of the most famous movie twiests ever.

  • @PinguKrueger twists*

  • Identity, Fight Club, Primal Fear... Best Movie Twists Ever!!!

  • For those who don't recognize or wanna find one of that movies u could update a list of names in description

  • The Usual Suspects is the undisputed king. The movie basically lied to you hahaha.

  • I don't want to insult your choices, but ... Scream? I mean, I could see it being the last of five, but ... anyway, I disagree with the top comment about Saw. There are little clues everywhere.

  • Some people may not agree but i thought orphan had a really unexpected ending - surprised that didn't come up.

  • what about fight club ...or primal fear !!

  • Comment removed

  • You got to put in the others and passengers

  • Scream?!? Are you serious?

  • You ever seen Arlington Road? Now that's some twisted ending.

  • what about drag me to hell?

  • how about Hide and Seek with Robert Deniro?

  • lol swhors dont get a second chance! LOL! !!!

  • from identity to scream..?? damn.. what a TWIST !!!

  • i would say scream is the best they lead u away from what u suspected and then when u see the ending u fee stupid for suspecting something different in my opinion a great movie scream 4 had a great ending too

  • Fight Club

  • Book of Eli, Shutter island.

  • @calumelliott Watch the end of shutter island again if you didnt understand it, listen to the very last thing he says, If you know what the ending is then congrats. But if you don't prepared to be shocked

  • @NapkinTable Huh, I did understand the end of Shutter Island, where did you get that from? XD I just stated it to show that I think it would be a good edition, along with Book of Eli!

  • @calumelliott ik, i just hate the people who dont understand it...

  • the prestige

  • WHERE´S SAW???

  • Randy!!!!!!! I LOVEE Randy!!!!! He will ALWAYS be my favorite Scream character of ALL TIME! But he freakin died jerks!! :(((

  • Omg! I remember that from Scary Movie (1)!!! Doofus, remember!?!? Hahaha!

  • Hey!! My name is Emma too!!! I dont own a tattoo business though... :(

  • Dang... that boy in "Momento" is ce-uuuute :)))

  • That would kinda suck to find out your a ghost.

  • Empire Strikes Back?

  • I dont get momentum, is he a killer??

  • could someone please explain identity to me??

  • final destination 5 had a great twist ending

  • really u put scream as number 1 lol such a predictable movie u should watch old boy way better as a number 1

  • my favourite ones were harry potter 6, saw 1, and saw 4. actually the whole saw series has great twist ending, those movies were brilliant

  • The Skeleton Key

  • ANGEL HEART - robert di niro and mickey rourke

  • All the Saw endings had twists.

  • i watched this expecting the number one to be fight club..

  • Glad Memento was thrown in the mix, love that movie! Honorable mentions-

    Fight Club

    Smokin Aces

    The Others

    Planet Of The Apes

    Shutter Island

  • what about Smoking Aces??

  • where the hell is planet of the apes?

  • um..... where's Fight Club

  • This was an excellent list my friend. Although at first I was little confused noticing that the twist in "Fight Club" wasn't mentioned at all. That one was a Classic man! =) But overall...Great choices.

  • Pft, the six sense was too obvious since the middle (plus, it is an overrated movie). I think you miss Saw and Sleepaway Camp, very shocking endings.

  • A shame not to see Saw in there anywhere. Shutter Island was quite nice as well. I personally saw The Sixth Sense coming a mile off when I watched it. But Scream???.........SCREAM??? It's your list in the end, but man, bad film, predictable ending.

  • @snowyalbino130

I agree with you on some level, the twist is unpredictable, however the point of Saw was for the villain to be a character absent throughout the movie physically, but to be there in presence. We see his affect on certain characters, such as Tapp, or Amanda, but the character of Jigsaw is revealed to be something the audience, as well as the characters, could not have known. Like the devil. That is just my opinion anyway.

  • Great choices! How about Seven? What a classic twist ending! David Fincher is truly a genius! Scorsese's The Departed is another recent one that throws the audience for a ride at the end! And we're glad to see Memento on the list. The Prestige is another great Christopher Nolan flick. He's really a master of the twist ending! The Dark Knight Rises looks very promising and we can't wait until next July! A twist ending would make the film even better! We'll just have to wait and see!!!

  • Memento's ending is a classic. extremely brilliant.

  • um wat was the memento twist?

  • @TheSuperKevinroy haven't you seen the movie?

  • How can I know if I don't agree, if I don't watch it? Siple as that! Not as simple as you, you moron.

  • fuck scream movie sucks big time

  • I skipped over Memento because I haven't seen it yet, and I didn't want to spoil anything, however, Fight Club was a movie at first everyone thought would have no depth in it's concept, but DAvid Fincher through in a twist I don't think anyone saw coming and it changed the whole outlook of the film. That's what twists do, they change the entire film as a whole and these are good picks but main Fight Club was just mind-twisting. Also the Prestige, which wasnt the twistiest twist, yet still good.

  • That was actually a really good list. Keep it up.

  • inception is a pretty good twist...at least in my opinion. All these other ones are even better though. :)

  • I was going to ask you why you left out "Psycho," but amazingly it made itself known in the last ending. Nice list, too!

  • GREAT choice with "Identity" -- this film is underrated and unseen!

  • I didn't get the "momento" one but another twist that everyone forgets, "The Skeloton key" also "The Mist"

  • @CAdvance The Mist is one of the most unpredictable, saddest, and most thrilling endings ever

  • Identity was the best Twist ending by far. >.>

  • @TeamPlasmaKingN God I know, it wasn't one but THREE. Ray Liotta's not a cop, They're all dissociated personalities, and Timmy's the evil one.

  • @TeamPlasmaKingN being sarcastic?

  • @MrDeamos No.

  • No Way Out should be listed here.

  • I thought the Sixth Sense was the best twist ending!!

  • Sixth Sense blew my mind when I first saw it.

  • Scream just ruined everything.

  • @donniedarkowow thanks for the help man i really appriciate it...

  • good collectioon

  • hey can anyone PLEASE help me find a movie where a muder happens but in the end a surveillence camera shows that they were lying...

  • @lenedarykingof1992 the life of david gale ?

  • @lenedarykingof1992 I think that's the life of david gale

  • Can someone please explain the ending of the Six Sense please?

  • @TheUnforgiven676 the guy of die hard is actually dead

  • @ElectronicEars woah, thanks for replying man :)

  • @TheUnforgiven676 Bruce willis' character is actually dead.

  • RaggaZaggaBagga: Everybody that he met at the motel is his own diversed personalities, all of them lives inside of him, and he kills them one after another.

  • identity is a great movie.

  • Watch Gossip it's a seriously underated film but has many twists!

  • Orphan? The Orphanage? Oldboy?

  • Scream? ....really?

  • Devil, Saw, Fight Club, Shutter Island

  • The Others? Fight Club?

  • Nice work! Was inspired to do a movie montage of my own. Please enjoy..

    youtube.com/watch?v=jEippUqLL0k

  • I completely agree. Scream is my favorite!

  • C'mon Scary movie scenes from Scream are scarier than the original ones. XD By the way, I recomend you "Ghost ship" ending, it's so unexpected.

  • really!?! scream had a more shocking twist than se7en, fight club, and SAW!?!

  • @JasonVoorhees2011 Agreed. Although I thought the movie was awesome, the ending is unoriginal.

  • @JasonVoorhees2011 Se7en wasn't really a "twist" - the audience wasn't lead to believe anything that turned out to be false. But it was shocking.

Fight Club had a pretty good twist, which worked well in the book. But it's a little absurd on screen, especially upon second viewing.

Saw was just dumb lol. Why was Zepp acting like a bad guy the whole time? What would've happened if Jigsaw had to sneeze?

To each their own. IMO Scream is def the best. No one I've shown Scream to has guessed it.

  • @snowyalbino130 uh you might wanna watch saw 3 again to see how that was explained. also, zepp had a poison coursing through his system which only jigsaw had the antidote for. don't belive me? watch it again. jesus, i'd swear you never even saw the ending!

  • @JasonVoorhees2011 I know that haha. What I mean is that the director obviously didn't want you to guess the ending, so he made Zepp act like a total psycho/bad-guy throughout, even though he was completely innocent... it's a twist for the sake of a twist.

Just my opinion : ) I realise I'm in the minority here lol, everyone seems to love Saw.

  • @snowyalbino130 Have you seen saw 3? That will explain your sneeze theory

  • @snowyalbino130 1) Although Zepp was set up, he began acting like a bad guy because he was actually a sadistic prick that enjoyed the 'power trip' of being a bad guy and threatening an innocent mother and child. 2) Jigsaw injected himself with a drug that slowed his bodily functions to the point where he would appear dead (shown in Saw II).

  • @marinlabyrinth actually it was shown in saw III :)

  • @TaylorandthePhoenixY haha, but at least we can agree that saw is awesome

  • @marinlabyrinth That makes sense : )

However, l still think that up against "The Sixth Sense" or "The Usual Suspects", it is majorly flawed. When you watch those movies for a second time, you feel like a total muppet for overlooking the various clues. When you watch "Saw" again, you realise that there are virtually no clues whatsoever, rendering the twist virtually impossible to guess unless you know one is coming.

  • @snowyalbino130 that's true, i like saw II and III the best. the first one was only created by james wan and leigh whanell. the second and third involved creative output from a separate team who were trying to make a different movie that ended up being combined with saw by lionsgate because the stories were similar. after the original creators left, however, everything went downhill . the other saw movies are very bad.

  • @marinlabyrinth Haha, well said!

  • @snowyalbino130 Don't be hating on the end of Saw, it was an amazing twist ending and the fact it could of never been seen coming but still makes complete sense is amazing.

  • @snowyalbino130 i think there are clues in saw they are just the smallest details before the last saw came out people knew gordon was coming back because of slight details and he did come back

  • @p3t3ymac96

there were clues of the ending in saw 4, hoffman keeps saying stuff like "dont go through unsecure doors" and he was also carrying a teddy bear that Perez asked about, the first time I watched it I picked up on him cuz that teddy bear was in 3. and i picked up on dr gordon still being alive in saw 2, hes limping around in the venus fly trap video tape

  • i guess you're not a fight club fan.

  • Good choice with "Memento." Shear awesomeness.

  • I have to say that to me "Identity" was the biggest twist EVER! Good job on these snippets. Well done!

  • Scream? Fucking horrible. Saw, Fight Club, Donnie Darko, Soylent Green. Educate yourself.

  • Wow se7en is like the most chilling ending ever. yet, its not here.

  • Can someone explain the ending of identity

  • The Usual Suspects is a horrible movie. I've watched it 3 times and STILL can't remember exactly how it goes. The reason is that it is a forgettable movie. The entire movie was built around the ending payoff. Memento, 6th sense are in my top 5. I haven't seen the other two.

  • YOu know Damn well SAw should have been #1

  • @LizardBonerKING the ending to the original Saw is amazing but I don't think it tops movies like The Usual Suspects, The Sting, or even Unknown.

  • and really?!?!?! SCREAM!! cheesy dude...its like the most obvious horror movie ever because its exactly what u thought and yet they play tricks making it seem like they wouldn't make it obvious!!

  • THE USUAL SUSPECTS WAS THE BEST ONE!! i remember watching the end and being like...whait...noooooo i did not see it com in!!!

  • @CaliCocoLove You bet. I had the very same reaction when I saw the ending of the usual suspects.

  • memento was so good

  • i never ever understood memnto!!! never ever

  • should have include countless episodes of twilight zone

  • Try Lucky Number Slevin. That's a great twist ending!

  • haha the scream ending was good :D

  • Lmao Scream #1 ? It was so damn obvious who the killers were in Scream.

  • @DoCFaTaL yeah but it wasn't obvious there were 2

  • Is it me or Kevin Spacey always seems to act in movies with shock or twist endings?

  • Whores don't get a second chance! I've been quoting that damn line since I was a teenager (Damn, I'm getting old!) BTW, wtf happened! It was like this list should've been in reverse! But, I feel that Frailty & the greatest twist flick of all time, OLDBOY! leave it to a foreign film to get it right & make sure it's the original korean version and not the edited american crap & don't even wait for the watered down remake! OLDBOY IS THE GREATEST FLICK OF ALL TIME! (Audition & tale 2 sisters)

  • @kakuichi oh yea, WTF how could I forget about A SERBIAN FILM, MARTYRS & that's it for now!

  • What about Fight Club?

  • am i the only person who is gioing to comment on the usual suspects. that ending was epic!

  • I like the prestige, and hide and seek

  • Primal Fear (1996) also has an amazing twist ending.

  • source code

  • @lightskinboy100 I agree. A noble film.

  • insidious

  • WHAT A TWIST!!!

  • saws ending is not a twist, its just something you didnt bother figuring out.

  • @addzack11 not its a twist. if you've ever written a script, or read a book. you'd know it was a twist

  • @addzack11

    It's a twist.

  • The only one I would want to see is Citizen Kane

  • how can you not have donnie darko

    ????

  • usual suspects by far has to be number 1. scream?? wtf.

  • scream should not be on here.

  • SCREAM ,are you fuckin with me , you useless cocksucker, you shoud not be allowed to watch films , MUTHAFUCKA

  • memento , good shout !!

  • @nudaydawning I know good movie endings when I see them. Plus, you don't give a hint to how the movie will end in the beginning. That's just idiotic.

  • @nudaydawning Nope. M Night is a lousy director, and always has been. SS is a good film most of the time, but then it comes with this predictable plot in the end which is clearly hinted from the beginning.

  • what about fight club or shutter island??

  • somebody explain the memento ending to me....im serious...i have never seen the movie but i dont get the ending at all....iknow im retarded :)

  • @ThePistons4life the dude is after his wife's murdered

but he cant make any new memories( example lets said he ate some pizza minutes later hes forgot he ate some pizza)

the movies goes like backwards in time meaning the beginning would be the ending

well at the end he makes his own reality hoping to find the taste of revenge he craves

wacth the movie to get the picture is really good

  • @ThePistons4life WATCH THE FILM

  • M. Night Shamalan would be proud of this list.

  • WHAT A TWIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

  • I am your father?

  • i didnt get mementos ending

  • Identity, Memento & Usual Suspects: Great Choices.

Sixth Sense & Scream: Are you kidding me?

  • @doddi1984 Dude you can't lie, Sixth Sense had a great twist the first time seeing it (in theaters, if you saw it on video I'm sure you heard about the twist beforehand). Still til this day when people talk about twist endings they talk about Sixth Sense. It just seems like it now that it is obvious and isn't that great because people have been beating it into the ground for a decade, which goes to show you how much of an effect it had.

  • @jarjarbanks22 I saw it on video, and made sure not to read anything or hear a thing about it before viewing.

He gets shot in the gut straight in the beginning of the movie. The most obvious result from that is either death or wheelchair, which you have to admit is a bit of a spoiler to know from the beginning.

I'll admit I was a bit surprised about it though. But this is not one of those memorable plots in movies.

  • seriously? not planet of the apes?? common...

  • The Prestige?

  • I'd get rid of scream and have the end of Brazil

  • WHAT ABOUT THE DAMN F*CKING SOYLENT GREEN!!!

  • @Sweetcuppcake30 what about it ?

  • @95bby SOYLENT...GREEN...IS PEOPLE!!!!!

  • @Sweetcuppcake30 i didn't get the ending for that how is it a twist

  • Not to be all about Christian Bale, but The Prestige and The Machinist both had great twist endings.

  • Saw, Fight Club, Star Wars, not good twists. The twist in Saw did nothing to advance the plot. Jigsaw could've just as easily been hiding outside the room or listening to a hidden microphone from a safe location. Fight Club was clever and substantiated, but there were too many holes and overlaps and in Star Wars, Darth could've been lying for all we know. There was no proof whatsoever. Btw, you should've showed both parts of the foolproof Usual Suspects twist; that's what makes it so great.

  • great job with the endings! those are some of my favrites, but se7en, fight club, primal fear, frailty, saw are rlly great too
