Sounds good, on these newer applications with cat converters & resonators you should include a bottom undercarriage shot that shows the turbo tubes used and their location in the exhaust system.
That has some great sound! Did you put an X-pipe in before or after the new mufflers? Also, did you ever find out if the customer got any drone at cruising speeds? Just curious because I recently bought an SRT8 and I'm looking at a new exhaust system but don't really want to shell out $1,400 for a Corsa... Thanks, and that beast sounds beastly!
Are these Power Sticks? I'm actually looking at a set of those for each of my Corvettes..a 76 and 80...and I think the chambered exhaust most closely matches the performance sounds of the late 60's. I really dig that mean sound!! How much are yours?
No these are Corvette Chambered mufflers. They where made on the same machine that Chevrlot used to our specs. The price depends on the length. Resonators 16"to 18" are $30.00 and up to 48" Side pipes for $60.00 each. The longer the deeper the shorter the louder!
So how do I go about ordering a set for my Vettes? I would buy at least one set, possibly 2. I need to know what shipping costs would be to 83334. And what length are the pipes on that Jeep? Any other suggestions for my application?
So can this only be done to that specific Jeep or can it be done so pretty much any vehicle?
Call me crazy/lame, but in the past few months I've been working on my '02 Liberty. The exterior detailing is pretty much done and I have a K&N cold air intake on the way. I'm thinking of exhausts as well.
hey mrtsautomotive great work i can't drive to kansas to get my exhaust done, what kind of exhaust is that i know turbo tube chambered but can you tell me a brand name or where to buy,any help thanks
Turbo Tube Chambered exhaust. And it was a bone stock 08 jeep srt8 with the 6.1L HIMI I replaced the customers stock muffler with two 18"inch chambered Turbo Tube mufflers! Left the stock resonators on it .
Cherry bombs( that are not Flowmaster clones) have packing that will blow out and get louder over time. These have no packing. They are as loud as they will get. The flowmaster clones use a delta shape wedge to split the air flow to make the so called famous flowmaster raspy sound. These are straight flow paths. These depending pipe size and the length can and most of the time are louder.
Sounds sick! I have a 5.7 WK HEMI do you think it woudl sound anywhere close to this? I have a flowmaster 40 series on it now with the resonator. THANKS!
my video response is the WK Hemi, with a Turbo tube in place of the muffler, no other exhaust mods. MrT's is an awsome company to deal with, im very happy with my exhaust!
I am so sorry I have been busy!!!! I was getting around to repling The # is 580-237-7859 Mon-Fri 8:00am to 5:00pm Central time and Sat 8:00am To 2:00pm Thanks
No! these are not Classic chambered exhaust mufflers! they are 18"x2 1/2 inch Turbo Tubes. We have these mufflers made for us on the same machine that Chevrolet used to make the exhaust on the ZL-1 Camaro and Corvette sidepipes Just with larger cores. Our mufflers do not have fluets in the flow path of the exhaust to cause turbulence. Just straight through perfromance! No packing to blowout,no tinny raspy sound. Just deep American muscle car sound. Thanks Checkout our Myspace see the diference.
Alot of people perfer the hi piched rasp of import car exhaust. and raspy muffler like Flowmaster,Corsa and Magnaflow, This cutomer wanted Deep bass and a powerful True American muscle car exhaust note! And thats what he got and was very happy !!!
hell yeah you do..lol...but this sounds awsome, yeah "to each his own" but if you cant love a true muscle sound, then i want to hear there 4cyl jap car sound better.

The shop is in Oklahoma, the owner of the Jeep lives in Kansas. I'd like to know where to hear it in person as I live in Kansas.
I'm wondering if the Jones Turbo Tubes are the same, I don't think they have any packing in them either.
snakesonaplane2 2 years ago
The jones are glass packs with 1 1/2" tubes on the inside. Jones is no where close to these. Send me a message and I will help you get a set.
