speed6 is slower than 3, its a little more luxurious than the first gens but the 2010+ are extremely nice especially the GTs. the speed 6 is wad but its a heavy pig, different league than the STI and EVOs, where as they quicker and more agile, the speed6 is more of a 'grown up' grand touring car, family/ midlife crisis lol
the right roll race with a speed would be a challenge, speed3s have 0-60 limiter thanks to mazda's stock tune

5k on a ms3 will make it faster, but you spend 5k on the evo and you are creeping into porsche territory..........plus ms3 is only fwd : too much power in fwd cars regulates it to straight lines and 1/4 miles runs on the track, AND you aint putting that down unless you drop another 1500 for lsd and install

The Speed3/EVO X race would've been better if it was a little longer...who runs an 1/8th mile? From a dig is cool for a FWD if they know how to drive...but in an 1/8th mile race it is extremely rare to see a FWD car do well at all.
Go to the Pontiac gto vs evo x video. That's the same white evo vs a red gto! A lot of mods have been done to the evo since the ms3 race though, since it can beat gto's now.

Did the speed3 have any boost cut issues as in the cold weather the speed3 has some serious boost cutting. I got rid of my boost cut with the CP-E reflash and it drives totally different.
Also, from a roll, the speed3 is a good bit faster, from a launch, it sucks. I spin my tires in third gear at WOT, but than again I'm not stock either.

I have an 08 speed 3 myself and love it. From a roll is a totally different story. Just saying from a stand still the Evo has a huge advantage being AWD. The speed3 can be very hard launching without practice. How well does your speed6 hold up against it?
so you are saying you'd rather spend +35K on an Evo/STi than only spend 23K-25K on a MS3, for not as good but still great performance? I'd rather buy a speed 3 and put 5K into it making it as fast as an Evo/STi.
Well what happens when the evo driver puts 5k in and is as fast as a porsche? Answer... You'll still be in a hatchback. You know what you're talking about because you drive an evo? really? The Speed6 is almost 100% fwd except from a dig in which it goes to about 60-40. Evo is 50-50 i would guess. My speed3 and my friends evo ix are dead even and i only have a SRI.
