Having played SO many Sims games over the years on many consoles, they've been so much fun, and the Sims 2 is brilliantly addictive.. but there is just something about the Sims 1 that makes me so happy.. there was just such an originality, quirkiness and, dare I say, emotion to the concept it presented, that I simply can't be fully satisfied by any other Sims game. I quite simply love this game.

I remember getting this (plus a boxset of other Sims games like Simcity, Sim Theme Park, Sim Glof etc) for Christmas and I hated the idea of this game. I didnt touch it for about 2 months, when I finally decided to give it a try. My parents actually had to take away my computer at night because I would sneak up and play it all night! Im so glad I was able to convert my old saves from when I was a childhood onto my new PC!!

This was wonderful! I got totally addicted to the first game, ended up buying all the EPs as they came out up to Making Magic, which was my favorite because of all the great magical stuff I could do with my sims. Also, all the incredible custom content that was made for it. Great days, good memories, thanks for reminding me.

I have a lot of the Sims 2 expansions and some Sims 3 games, but I uninstalled all of them and now I have Sims 1 and all the expansions. I don't regret it; you get more fun out of Sims 1 and all the expansions than the Sims 3 or Sims 2.
