Thanks. The perch are found by following the current fishing reports, following the boats and using sonar. At that time, the river there was solid fish. It didn't matter where you dropped your bait. The perch were everywhere. This was late March. Many of these places were frozen over earlier in the winter.
Great job man. I've been rigging up but still haven't made it out yet. How long were you out there for? Where do I put in from? Was that off lakeshore? Thanks for the help
It was a long outing. I sat in that kayak for almost 7 hours without getting out. Launching was at the 95th St boat ramps. Traveled north up the lake to the barge slip north of the river, then finished up fishing a bout 1/2 up the river. Be careful out there!
