That's on the 20.8 km tourist Nordschleife. And when mesured from "bridge to bridge" it's even less. The lap shown here is the 22,8 km setup from the seventies.

You cannot really compare. The track is very different now. This is the 1967 track from Grand Prix Legends. Also don't forget theese are cars use 1970 technology and they have about 220 hp.

Its older. GTR2 has a lot of engine updates, and Race 07 has even more. But neither have the old cars as far as I know. I much prefer the Race 07/GTR2 conversion of the track - lots more detail.

i prefer gt legends physics then gtr2. they are almost the same but still i think gt legends physics are very very very good.

@MakuthePOtHead both are using the same graphics and physics engine... but in these older cars you don't get such good suspension nor downforce etc... i also prefer GTL over GTR2 'cause it's harder to drive

Looks to be a replay, he cropped the top and bottom out so you cant tell. Beautiful track and very peaceful to watch regardless.

No mystery about that. I already told it in a precedent message. This is a replay because it's the only way to have a fluid video. I cropped the image to gain bandwith/quality on the useful part of the screen. And also because on replay gauge's needles don't move. For those who will ask, I alreaddy told that the pilots arms have been removed for the same reason. I drived the car and the oponants are AI. Level is "pro". Cars come from a kit made by a member of club914

good vid but i have a question: on GT Legends i have a DeTomasso Panthera and every time i turn, even with no throttle, i start to drift off of the track, pls respond to this ASAP and thanks to any responses

it's quite difficult with the detomaso in GTL, but i've got it now (a 7.58 on the nordschleife tourist) and even a bit of drifting is possible... i would recommend to take the 914/6 here in the vid to practise, 'cause it's also midengined and rwd... so you can learn how such a car reacts and what you should never do with them... and after a few 100 laps, you can try the detomaso again ;) good luck

I love the game as well. I just wish GT legends used the original versions of Spa and the Hockenheimring. If I wanted to drive on the new versions, I'd play freaking GTR2!! anyway, SimBin has been on a roll as far as racing games go, I can't wait for RACE '07 to come out! F3000 and Formula BMW! Next for SimBin should be an F1 game (though I imagine it isn't worth the hassle of dealing with Bernie lol).

¬¬ I think it's a video filmed on board of an AI car. His drive is very tedious. If the driver is a real person... Why did he covered the steering wheel?

Open your eyes, you will see that it's not AI car but human (me), I started to play on this track with GPL in 1998... and yes I can go faster.

To be fair, on a track like that, it's best not taking too many risks. DOn't wanna do 3/4 of the lap and crash, lol. Great driving though
