I assume you're talking about Peter Bergen's book? The documents in question were indirectly referenced by Bergen, can you dig up a link that categorically proves that Al Qaeda as a singular organisation was established during 1988, rather than quoting wikipedia at me?

Yes they did, but Al Qaeda didn't. Curtis tells us that Al Qaeda as represented by the government and media doesn't exist, not that terrorism doesn't exist. The Home Office actually held an inquiry into the 7/7 bombings and concluded that Al Qaeda weren't responsible.

Curtis is not God Of Truth ! AlQaeda was mentioned in public for the first time by Usama Bin Laden when he presented his fatwa against the US. (approx. 1997)

Curtis shows small parts of this in his video, so he really should know, that he's not telling the truth. And for 9/11 there had to be some sort of organisation. (money,coordination) His thesis is not true

I'm reading the 1996 fatwa issued by Bin Laden right now and I can't see the term 'al-qaeda' anywhere. Curtis doesn't claim that there was no 'money' or 'co-ordination', he simply claims that al qaeda as represented by governments and media isn't accurate. If Curtis was telling lies, then these lies would have been comprehensively debunked and his reputation as a documentarian would be in tatters. This hasn't happened and the BBC still employs him. Why is that then?

Curtis doesn't criticise the United States, he criticises the Neoconservative movement within US politics. Also, you're wrong: the 7/7 bombings happened two years after this series was originally broadcast, not 'right after'. There's nothing false about the central argument: Al Qaeda didn't carry out the 7/7 bombings. This is because Al Qaeda, the organisation as portrayed by the media and government, doesn't exist.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is caused by roundup or some other chemical product of that evil company. another thing, climate is dynamic, always has been, only an idiot would think that the ice caps will stay the same. if there is no global warming but icecaps are melting, it means the melting is due to some other reason. possible culprits: ocean currents, plate tectonics, wind patterns...

I think you missed the entire point the video was making.....The whole FEAR factor to this Terror business is all false and manufactured. This way, those in fear are far more easily controlled, manipulated, and are far less questioning.

I couldn't say it better. I grew in Colombia back in the 80's&90's when the war between drug cartels, guerrillas and paramilitary made a huge mess and the level of corruption didn't help either. Lucky things have change significant, we still have some issues but we will get there. a chase game is an excellent metaphor. I don't thing there is pure evil or goodness just conflict of ideas and people get carried away until the point the actually forget what they got involved in the first place.

Global warming insinuates that the planet is warming up, it isn't, so they changed it to climate change. The weather system on this planet is and always forever changing as its always been and will be. If the planet is changing due to our misconduct with the planet, then the planet will find a way to balance back to Equilibrium, but before it does that, there will be weather and geothermic "problems". These aren't problems for the planet, just for us humans.

alexpercy77, the reason why they recorded slight increase of the temperature is because of the urban sprawl. With the spread of asphalt to the suburbs, the more heat is retained near the meteorological stations, thus falsely showing there is an increase in temperature "on-average" all over the planet. What they should do is move the stations outside of the cities! This has been well documented by prominent scientists, and proven by satellite measurement of the atmosphere.
