  • I LOVE WHAT YOU DO, BRO.

  • sounds better than alot of the vsti synths, lol

  • That pitch of the bow across the stings reminds me of "The Chainsaw Massacre"

  • I think of EXTREMELY haunted places and awesome chase scenes when listening to this guy.

  • Love your stuff but this is my favorite. I am a Halloween/horror fan and this definitely gives me the chills! Makes me think axe murderer of ZOMBIES!

  • I need to borrow some of this guy's talent.

  • Please keep making this music sir. You are incredible. Where can I purchase your compositions?

Parts of it remind me of some of the noise experiments Sleepytime Gorilla Museum create.

  • sileeeeent hilllllll

  • Thank you for your demonstration of honest expression! :)

    You've inspired me! :D

  • Is there any way that I can purchase this on a CD, along with his other masterpieces?

  • do you do the editing after recording yourself?

  • If I was walking through an abandoned town and wanted to get creeped out. I would be listening to this music while I was walking through it.

  • when i listen to this i picture me being in an abandoned city and discovering the dark depths beneath

  • Ooops!!! That was creepy... Nice one...

  • Oh my God this song creeped me the hell out!

I just had a feeling something terrible was going to happen to me when I was listening to this, like getting stabbed or eaten.

I love it though. Extremely atmospheric.

  • I get the feeling I am watching/playing some really scary movie/game. Dark scene, alone and in a tunnel or complex cave system.

  • This should be released on Room40, LINE, 12k, or one of the other minimalist labels.

  • This is a brilliant concept and performance. Thanks for showing it!

  • Suoni stupendi!!!

    Rode Nt4 yeah!!!

  • diego youre a wild man! really nice stuff ! insperational, thanx sooo much... i love it !!!!!

  • holy shit this is deep and disturbing! love it!

  • This should be the soundtrack for an old silent horror movie!

  • dude you are just amazing, so creative and imaginative :) i would of never thought of this! i tell you, if you made a cd, id buy it :) keep it up, i love your work!!

  • You could make a fortune selling Sample packs and VSTi's of your instruments ;) Not that they'd come anywhere near the real sound.

  • For some reason, when I listen to this I think of a big abandoned 1910s style train station, with the echoes coming from the tunnels. I imagine myself standing in the center of it all... I have a vivid imagination. Haha, it's the writer in me.

Not much music can make me really feel like I am somewhere else, this is amazing. Thanks for doing what you do.

  • @meesatheorange That's a really interesting image, it's great to have an imagination like yours. Thank you for checking out my work.

  • @meesatheorange

This makes me think of being on the doorsteps of an ominous looking castle on a dark night. Seeking shelter but no one's there. you have to spend the night anyway with the provisions you have but the castle is huge and the echos sound like footsteps.

  • @meesatheorange I first thought of sneaking in a dead city, but it's true some of the more treble sounds look a bit like and old steam train's whistle.

  • Non so che darei per avere una colonna sonora del genere per un mio cortometraggio… Sei un genio.

  • This is the perfect music for a OST :)

  • You are like the new John Cage :)

  • This is good stuff Diego! You are not mixing it with anything else right!? No Sample Logic, etc..?

You should be selling these with NI or Sample Logic. Try !!

  • @girotube eh eh no : ) (I saw your other commment about Omnisphere).

No additional sounds from any sample based instrument.

  • @DSSessionVideos

Saw your face on the sand video and I said wait a minute... I know this guy!!!

I remenber your Omnisphere master class.

    Love these sounds.. Very organic.

  • soundtrack for a thriller/horror movie/ burning man

  • sounds like something id hear in a Tomb Raider game

  • sounds like music from Myst.

  • Nice.

  • This I like much better

  • To me Diego Stocco might just be under the influences of Pink Floyd or Tangerine Dream. His musical style isn't only haunting but innovative and intiguing as well. It's nice to see a musician that not only thinks outside the box but creates an entirely different sort of box. Very unconventional and avant garde. Let's hope we hear more from him. Maybe an album?

  • sir, youre awsome

  • you rockZ

  • Drone, almost right? My favorite.

  • 1 Person I think missed the LIKE button

  • i think you should make more music like this it was awasome A+++

  • AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Me fez sentir sensações que nunca senti!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You should make film music. Please make a cd in this genre then send me it! Lovely.

    Khalil

  • he does lol

  • @viciouslyincompetent He played his experibass in the new Sherlock Holmes soundtrack.

  • @codyrawks wow really? that's amazing? which part tho?

  • love it :3

  • a waterphone would fit well in this composition!

  • nice!!!!

  • soo sickk.... sounds like the shining

  • You are one heck of a musician! Keep it up!

  • your experimental music (because is the only "style" that I can put on you) is simply great!

is just a matter of prepare your mind to hear something totally different

if you don't have that kind of capacity, then you'll not enjoy it

    Congratulations Diego Stocco!

  • Ahhh this is so fucking good!!!

  • No man, this is not what I wanted to hear, not that good as the previos Experibass, sorry...

  • I actually think that this video is not as good as the last. The sound is just weird and it kinda able to creates weird emotions in ppl ~~> sounds cool~~> and it's just it.

  • this gave me shivers.

  • awsome.

  • To each his own -- as someone who appreciates music, I understand that I will not enjoy every style and genre of music, but can appreciate it for what it is.

Claiming his music is passionless and formless simply because his music can be viewed as unorthodox and apparently, somewhat iconoclastic, is dumb.

Regardless, Diego Stocco, I encourage that you continue what you're doing -- unorthodoxy can sometimes produce great things.

  • :) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • subscribed

  • for some reason i dont know why... this really pissed me off and made me uncomfortable... y

  • i know. This left me mortified. Tearing apart some lovely instruments, throwing together a passionless, formless medley he calls music, and having the GALL to put it up on Youtube would leave anyone uncomfortable.

  • do you even read the description? he used an old dismantled piano, hardly "tearing apart" instruments.

  • ahhh mah bad......regardless, i dont like this piece in particular. I like his music from a tree, however.

  • @LetTheMusicFlow1 haha you think you know music

  • Ummm next great horror much?

  • soo cool.

  • This belongs in a scary movie...

  • Ma come li scovi questi suoni? Per caso oppure intuizione o pura ricerca?

  • Does this reverb you get on your recordings come from those instruments you create or is it added after?

  • YEAH!

  • Love your work

  • Great sounds, very moody. And now I'm curious what's that upcoming project! :]
