Two of my favorite bands!! ... I do get kinda sad though ... I think that the loss of Layne is one of the worst in rock music ... Such a great voice lost forever ... But his work will live on forever and I will listen to both JA and AiC for the rest of my life.

no one ever will replace layne, but in this case it works because he's dead, now if he just quit the band and was still alive it'd be a different story, as for dave and jerry, i seem to recall dave saying him and cantrell were neighbors, good friends and poker buddies.
