@mrpropilot1 Xplane default airplanes are like FSX default airplanes. In FSX none has FMC even less than the default FMC x-plane has. Already there is the payware CRJ200 with advanced FMC.

Just downloaded X-Plane 10 demo last night, tried it this morning. It's awesome. Specially the scenery and this aircraft, the first and only one I tried for the moment. Viewed this video a while ago and was looking forward to try it since then. Ran into 2 small issues though: first small problem is the characters printed on the FCU panel are a bit hard to read. HOLD, APP and mostly everything there. Second and most important, couldn't use the altitude function of the AP at all!

That's an awesome promo video, I've been an X-Plane fan for many years. But what does a video showing the interior of the aircraft, the seats to be specific, have to do with how great of a flight sim it is. Frankly I saw some very flat textures in use for the outdoors scenery. Screw the seats, give me detailed textures, bump mapping and tessellation for the real world scenery. I'm not hat'n, I'm just saying ....

well you cant compare this to fsx. I definitely say that XP10 is nicer than fsx (i'm a fsx user and may consider switching) but you cant compare fsx and XP10 to this since fsx was released nearly 5 yrs ago.

@ke3wh Simpilots must look the cockpit than the external because real pilots are inside of cockpits and cannot see the airplane outside when flying. So it is needed a good detailed 3d cockpit for the REALSIMpilots

@Japo32 depends on what you are thinking. I agree with the two. Just remember that some SIMpilots dont use interior cockpit at all, as they have real virtual cockpits, so the rendering of the outside is what matters ( as you see others aircrafts from your cockpit).

I remember the trailers for X-Plane 9 when it came out. They were just as awesome too. ( why the cabin I dont know? Is this the Flight attendant Simulator?) But wait until you can actually fly it. Looks great! Very impressive. The only thing I would say is I think you need to check your heights in the cabin - the windows look to be set a little high in relation to the seats? Also I wonder if there's a little too much inward camber to the cabin walls, the lower deck of the 747 has relatively upright side walls, due to the sheer size of the fuselage. Having said that it's still mighty impressive, keep up the great work.

@DavidMcMahon1 easily... on my mac it runs seemlessly. I got mine from amazon also :). if youo get a bit of lagg with the highest settings, you can change rendering distance etc and it will make the background slightly blurred and it makes it faster and doesnt look less beautiful.
