I do not tolerate any culture that insists on a "cover story". I have seen too much suffering in Asia to allow conservative cultures to push gay people into the closet. You should just tell them that your son is married to a man, and that they should catch up to the rest of the world before they become relics of a bygone era that children like to jeer at. Simple as that.
