  • Pure Class

  • rockin riff I kindigit!

  • the best sound from the quo and the one and only telecaster you are looking at a group one of the best in the world using one of the best guitars in the world total legend i know its only my opinion .

  • Hadn`t found this before. What a brilliant music!!!! And they look so young and cute:) Still love them all, since the 70`s.

  • awesome.. i love francis's sideburns :P

  • did you know Rick punches holes in his pics -only know that coz he give me one along time ago at a gig - it probably gives him better grip

  • ah quo - what a fantastic band they were. look at them now. what the fuck happened?

  • @jjwesley2525 ..sadly I agree..a couple of decent album tracks over the last twenty years but nothing like the calibre of these gems..I love this one.

  • @jjwesley2525 i agree

  • Francis looks totally stoned - still a great song!

  • This is one of my fav Quo tracks, its just the Nutz, I wish I had a copy of this clip, where can I get one ?????

    Thanks for postin this............

  • Wish it was 1971 again ....great stuff..

  • Does anyone know about the telecaster Rick is using? Its been in all there early footage and later had the bridge changed to the tune-o-matic the same as Rossi's Greenie (like in this vid). Be cool to know what happened to it.

    Long Live Quo!

  • The White Fender Telecaster...

that is Ricks main guitar is a 1965 model with all the original Fender pickups and parts except for the bridge which has been changed to a Badass bridge, because he attacks the guitar and plays so hard he would tear his wrist on a normal Telecaster bridge.

He also uses an original Gibson SG which is tuned to an E chord.

  • I thought he didn't get the white telecaster til the mid 70s though? Plus it was a dark blue originally this one is like a grayish colour and has the tune o matic bridge not the badass :s. omg i sound like a geek! Haha

  • don't know where you got that from, Rick uses a number of different tunings - mostly open G with capo to A or B, then there's his unique wierd B tuning - but as far as I know no open E.

  • He also uses 11 gauge strings.....bless his fingers!

  • Wow I've not heard one his before........it's brilliant!!!!

  • Than your not a real Quo fan (I'm joking) My first Quo experiance was on radio Luxemborg, early 70. I have until 25 LP's

  • I am not a real anybody fan in the sense that I am an avid follower, however I DO really like Quo and have seen them live once.

Thankyou for your kind reply you are very much appreciated :-)

  • I can recommend to you then the 2003 remasterd version of Dog Of Two Head. Its on there.

  • Nice hat Spud!!!!

  • he's really stoned! good song though.

  • I actually bought this record in `71 had to trawl through every record shop to find it and I still have it,its on PYE and the b side was "Good thinking" (this track appeared on a 10"EP in the early 80`s with the full title Good thinking Batman)I never heard Tune to the music on the BBC at the time,I think I heard it first on either Radio Luxembourg or one of the last remaining pirate radio ships possibly radio veronica any one else remember Radio Veronica ! ?

  • Francis looks stoned - good vid though!
