go ahead and make it illegal. Overuse of alcohol will skyrocket due to the urge of doing something illegal. Look at marijuana, millions do it daily nationwide. Its overuse is more common in the US than in the Netherlands where it is legal. By the way, compared to alcohol, no one has died of marijuana use or its results. If someone decides to prohibit alcohol then at least legal marijuana to maintain a balance.
P.S. Drunks are more educated than ever, that's how they've managed to create a system where the likes of you are hard pressed to win presidential elections
dear guy that must have been drinking.... today we have the best most educated drunks of all times.....education and recovery are a myth.........our people are educated by bud advertising...that makes you think you are smart if you have a bud.... we have so much education on tobacco, do you think recovery is helping them....no 3 out of the 4 die, only 1 will get off smokes... what makes prohibition so wonderful, (not perfect) is there is no booze advertising.. gene
organised crime came to be because of prohibition.
ffurthermore prohibition was a precurser to a HUGE economic downturn, do you really think that's what we need considering what is going on in the makrets these days? plus, alcohol is one of the world's oldest drinks; just like prostitution it's obviously not going away. why not get the taxes off alcohol sales like always, and put more effort into recovery, and prevention programs? restriction doesNOT work, education does

Nothing wrong with the people voting in a constitutional amendment against the sale of alcohol. It's their choice.
Will it stop all the deaths on the road? No. Does the law against stealing stop all the thieves? No. But, it should remain illegal.
Promoting a dangerous drug like alcohol only causes more deaths. 18,000 on the roads each year. Who knows how many off the roads.
Try telling the friends and family of Nick Adenhart that alcohol is healthy.
