In response to the "don't read to them," I went to an Obama event where she was the featured speaker. She had no prepared remarks, but gave an outstanding 15-20 minute pep speech /rally. She obviously wants to hit all of her points, and she did (and continues to do) a great job. I can't wait to see her as First Lady of the United States.

I grew up with two very conservative parents and they always taught me that being a homosexual is wrong. but as I've grown up and been able to see the world myself and make my own decisions and see the people as they really are, not what my parents told me they are, i can see that there is nothing wrong with being homosexual. there's nothing wrong with being yourself. if gays and lesbians want to get married, than more power to them. they aren't' hurting anyone by loving each other.

I love Obama but I totally disagree on Gay adoption.I don't think we know enough YET about if it works.There are many reports that say Lesbians rearing children is not a problem BUT men raising children still holds quite a big question mark. Children being conditioned raised in a gay environment ARE going to think behave differently from children raised in a straight environment to then enter a world which is primarily straight so I think more studies need to happen before we hand over our kids!
