I didnt hear any crack and everyone looked pain free...uke even used wrist and knuckles to push herself up...so? not sure what ya heard? oh well..lol of course these techniques "could" cause a break in wrist if done fast n hard.....

with practice it becomes routine where you do not even think about what you are doing. its like reading if you will. You dont have to stop to think about it. Practice, practice, practice.
aikido is a martial art in long term. it takes years of practice before you can use it efficiently. The art of control your enemy without any strenght is a hard way.
However, when you master it you become nearly invulnerable, I really suggest you to start it.
