Wesker was so badass before RE5. Looked to be in control of everything... Then in RE5, he makes mistake after mistake which I felt was out of character for him. But I do like RE5 Wesker aswell, just not as much as his previous appearances.

Wesker is so awsome in 4 In 5 Capcom destroyed him and made him look like crap. Oh and by the way his signature sunglasses are oval not square like in resident evil man that made me mad. I think they tried to made re 5 good but went overboard and ruined it with co op not survival horror which is good to try new things but it didn't work this time.
He`s bad. In RE 1 he was the boss of the STARS unit, if I`m not mistaken. It was later revealed that the ocurrances in Spencer State (the mansion from RE 1) and Racoon City were due to a plot in which Wesker had a major role.
@41Danny1 Wesker is a double-agent researcher who worked for Umbrella. As a captain for S.T.A.R.S., he led the team into the Arklay Mansion so Umbrella could gather battle data on the creatures they stored there. He was "killed" by a Tyrant but he used a virus to sustain himself and survive the attack.
After that he participated in a number of things behind the scenes. So he's never been anything more than a villain.

Ken Lally is Wesker's motion-actor in RE5. DC Douglas is Wesker's voice actor in RE5.
