To deny science and evolution is doing a great disservice to what people term god. If god created life then there was a natural process set in motion, that process being evolution.
Life is the matter that makes up the whole universe that organizes itself by its own principle of negentropy - at the edge of chaos. Then it generates intelligence, and intelligence observes its surroundings. Ergo we are matter, observing itself - the universe that realizes its existence and proceeds to further complexity.

That was a very good movie. It is very informitave of the relatedness and diversity is life. The CG images are beutiful. I was wondering whether they were going to show non-mammal synapsides (aka mammal-like reptile). They may be obscure, but I think they are totally cool. At the end they showed mammals. I think that was close enough. Showing all the groups would take forever. It would lose appeal for a general audience.
A sun like ours only exists for about 12 billion years but its moon moves away to fast to suport life and in just 50 million years the moon will be to far away from us to support life mostly human life. We are just here for a drop in the bucket of a Suns life, as in science law atoms and amino acids have never been observed in nature or in a lab of any conditions to combine to create d.n.a. not even a bacteria or virus has been created from scratch that would have existed at that time. This movie is HEAVY! I'm a believer in God, but I also like this "Tree of Life" Idea. Might explain why it wasn't necessary to fit every land dwelling animal that now exists, into a container only the size of 3 football fields to save them from destruction. The most moving theme of this movie is how our surroundings added with our natural craving for competition, make us tick . Will our competitive nature destroy us or will God step in and provide for us what we can't evolve, leadership.

The adaptations have been occurring more or less arbitrarily, but the nature of them determines whether they proliferate by being advantageous or disappear. And that is determined by forces independent of the organism.

The value between a chair, child, and table vary depending on the person you are asking. Some people would value the chair over the child. A culture sets up the values and rules but we can also deviate from the 'norm'. You have to study into the sociology and respective science fields to get better answers about values, norms, etc.

This movie is HEAVY! I'm a believer in God, but I also like this "Tree of Life" Idea. Might explain why it wasn't necessary to fit every land dwelling animal that now exists, into a container only the size of 3 football fields to save them from destruction. The most moving theme of this movie is how our surroundings added with our natural craving for competition, make us tick . Will our competitive nature destroy us or will God step in and provide for us what we can't evolve, leadership.

The adaptations have been occurring more or less arbitrarily, but the nature of them determines whether they proliferate by being advantageous or disappear. And that is determined by forces independent of the organism.

Species aren't stationary lines with binary splits. Sure looks fancy though being able to represent a certain species with a line. Very convenient. Can you explain to me the difference in value between a chair, a child & table? & How would you determine that difference in value? Who or what determines that "Value system"? Is There really such a thing as Wrong VS Right? Night VS Day? Or Life VS Death? Or do we just make it up as we go? I think you are more afraid That you do not Understand & are uncertain yourself ;)-

@TheVALLEYoftheDEAD Watch this video, realize that we are super complex, but grew from the molecules up over a period of 4 billion years. The value between a chair, child, and table vary depending on the person you are asking. Some people would value the chair over the child. A culture sets up the values and rules but we can also deviate from the 'norm'. You have to study into the sociology and respective science fields to get better answers about values, norms, etc.

@awayoutmovement You cannot believe in God and Evolution at the same time. What is your definition of God? If you believe that God is the Universe then yes, the Universe created us. You use the word HIS describing what God is. This alone is absolutely ridiculous because your God would not be a sex, it wouldn't be anything but a vague concept in your head with no meaning. If you are a Christian and believe in Evolution, you either no nothing about evolution or nothing about Christianity.
