This was great. Seems a like a sybiotic relationship between the the "feet" and fish. The fish are doing a job and probably enjoy it!!! Big deal. They are held in captivity and are probably bored out of their minds. If in the wild, they are probably attached to other "fish" taking bacteria off or whatever.

They are small carp like fish, not piranhas. They don't even have teeth, which makes them eat only the dead skin because they cannot remove the live skin. I guess it makes you sounds more like a trooper when you make them sound like they're blood sucking fish of the damned though.

They don't have any teeth, so they can really only eat the dead skin (calluses). I think these are doctor fish, not piranhas, but even piranhas that small wouldn't hurt much.
