What do you expect from these sophmores comming off a nine loss season? Did you watch the Hawaii Bowl? Notre Dame is back. Is 7-6 with a one point loss to Syracuse and a triple overtime loss Pittsburgh not "Okay"? I think it's a pretty big improvement considering their 2007 season.

The USC TROJANS embarrassed us in 2007 and 2008 for a combined score of USC 76 - nd 3. We hold the NCAA record for the most consecutive bowl losses (Hawaii will be #10). We haven't won a title or brought home a Heisman in more than 20 years. Our schedule is a joke. We really don't even deserve to be in a bowl game. WE SUCK!!!

In my opinion Hawai'i and Cinci was fair with the refs. 1st quarter the bearcats outplayed with Hawai'i. Hawai'i DOMINATED the 3rd quarter. But in my opinion Hawai'i should've won but they blew a 14 pt lead in like what 5 minutes in the 4th that was tough to swallow but hey they played outstanding in what so called analysis expected Cinci to win by like 2 td's. If Hawai'i can learn to put games away in the 4th quarter when they got the lead Next year u better watch out the Warriors are comming!

well you know bro ending up 6-7 (same record as hawaii) for ND, given a fairly "easy" schedule is nothing to be happy about. Hawaii lost half its offense talented players last year, and still came away with a decent record in a rebuilding year. ND has top 15 recruiting classes every year, and for them to not break .500 mark is a shame with all that talent, and a NFL coach in Charlie Wiess. I think in the strength of schedule, ND was towards the bottom of the D1A Rankings, around the 100 mark...

U talk about rebuilding. we lost Brady Quinn, Samardjia, Walker 2 yrs. ago. and lost Zibby, Carlson, and Trevor Laws last yr. AND has a bunch of Fr. and So. starting. You guys should be going 10-2, at least above the .500 mark with all that talent on your team. ND gets a top 15 recruiting class "EVERY YEAR!" Along with a "NFL COACH!" They should be a good team "EVERY YEAR!" not a subpar 7-6 team. Hawaii is on a "FREAKING ROCK" (no offense to my fellow islanders.) But Hawaii does not get the talent level of recruits that ND gets "EVERY YEAR!" Plus Hawaii's program doesn't get funded anywhere near what ND gets. So, there are no excuses for ND not to do well!

You don't have quite the grip on ND football that you think you do. Allow me to inform you on a little something.

2004 - Ranked #40, 18 players

2005 - Ranked #27, 15 players

By 2007, the 04 recruiting class had 4 remaining players. FOUR. The 05 class had 12 players remaining. For those of you who are mathematically challenged, that's a grand total of 16 players from those two classes, which were now upperclassmen. To be continued below

Most teams get more than that in 1 class, let alone 2. A re-evaluation of those classes, due to the drop in numbers, would net them much further down than originally predicted. Tell me how many UH classes possess 4 players, or 16 total Jr's and Sr's. Obviously this year the numbers changed somewhat, although still skewed in the number of underclassmen. Does this totally excuse the product on the field IMO, no, not so much. CW could do better with what he's been dealt. But he's working on it.
