great work dude. stick is one of the hardest instruments to even get down, and so few people master it. do you play keyboard or piano as well? to me, they require almost the same skill set and discipline.

@sagerbj86 well, actually, I'm pretty confident that the concept of playing a piano / keyboard is so much simpler than playing a Stick. playing a Stick really is a mindfuck.

@sagerbj86 well, these are just opinions you know, to me the piano is simpler because you have a note from a certain octave only on once on the keyboard. Playing independent patterns with two hands (bass and melody) is as difficult as it gets. It is difficult indeed but to do the same thing on the stick probably requires a greater amount of effort because of two things: the tuning and the fact that on the bass you really play upside down. Real mindfuck. :x But as I said, these are just opinions.

@wee1owen12 Other than used the only way to get them is from the manufacturer. Check out their website for the different styles and prices. There's no such thing as a beginner stick...maybe you could consider the 10 string stick a beginner for the 12 string stick haha

Yes, he's actually playing. Chapman stick is sort of like a combo guitar/bass instrument that you play by tapping on the strings instead of strumming or plucking them. It's also a bitch and a half to play.
