@Pyro5139 well in the song it's actually played by a synth... but I suppose if you were to have complete high/treble cut, complete low/bass boost and no mid then it'll take all the twang out of it. Then high gain should help too, and the rest of it would be just down to how you play. Obviously you'll never get a synth sound with a guitar but have a go at that, you might get something a vaguely similar. I may be wrong too.
