Where are you getting your facts from? 550BHP? They dynoed the GTR, they did not take the tranny apart and pull einstein shit on it and calculate power loss.

Weight is pointless if the computer gadgets have proven to go beyond the laws of physics. Reviews already show that the weight makes it understeer during corner exits, it doesn't change the fact that traction during corner acceleration is important.

Ya can c how great the handling of the R35 is from watching he steers. He doesn't need much steering adjustment and the turn in is fast given the weight disadvantage with the R35. The Mines car had its seats replaced with Recaro SP-A(22kgs lighter than the standard one)so the car was lighter but other than that it was stock. Other stock GTRs have run at Tsukuba Circuit and all have recorded times of around 1:02 so I'd say that AT TSUKUBA the GTR's about 1sec faster than the 997.

Kind of like BMWS...

no he's wrong, 997 is the latest model of the 911 series, 911 is the name of the car, it'll never change, with every new 911 model they produce they name it a new name, the last 911 model was a 996, this one the latest is the 997. the 1989 model was 994, the 1995 was the 993..etc and thats how it goes!
