  • Kinda Toolish! Wow, pretty sick vibe on that bad boy.

Thanks for the clip! I guess theses Prestige Ibez are pretty awesome.

  • awesome playing! you're the man! quick question: can you play in passive mode without battery? is it true that you need 2AA batteries?

  • It's too fucking expensive but a Killer Bass! For now an sr500 bm does the job for me.

  • @DinosDIS A very good bass too.

  • Very nice playing and tone. I was an Ibanez player for 10 years (my first "Good" bass was a '92 MIJ SR-800 & then moved up to an *killer* SR-1206 six-string) before reevaluating all parts of my playing (stylistically, sonically, strings) and changing all my gear to how I wanted to sound, but it's been very nice to see starting with the 5000 series Ibanez has re-committed to making professional-level basses, was it seems from the late '90s to late '00s they didn't make ANY basses at that level.

  • Great playing and tone dude! What did you record this thru?

  • wtf BASS MAN!

  • Josh is the shit... just saying. Arsenic needs to play more shows!!!!

  • Dope <Man

  • Give me give me give me!!! I love that bass lookin!

  • Que clase de bajo!!!!!!!! yo quiero uno .

  • Are this the original Elixir strings?

  • @ooooJESUSoooo Yes. This video was taken the day that the bass arrived (factory strings & tension). However, since Arsenic plays at C# standard (the tuning which "Goodbye" is meant to be played in), this bass will soon be slightly modified to accomodate this. I'll be sure to post the outcome \m/ :) -Pick

  • @jpickeral

Are you kiddin' me? Did I just search for ''pick bass guitar'' and the first link I click is actually a guy named Pick playing with his fingers? -_-

  • @Brutalyeah hahahaha. thats awesome. \m/ I have some newer videos, around here somewhere, as well.

  • quero um baixo desse...

  • Dear santa...

  • My goal in life is to own one of those basses, it's epic

  • The perfect bass !

  • Awesome sound, I love how thin the necks are, it's not like playing on a tree log like most basses. Awesome video!

  • On the live video what Head is Josh using?

  • @haggis325 SWR Mo Bass.. You can see it sitting ontop a Marshall half stack, although its running thru the Ampeg fridge cab that we all shared that night. There's a video, on my facebook page, of Arsenic performing "The Beauty of what is lost", in which the same SWR is running thru Hartke's (4.5XL + 410tp). I've been talking about upgrading the Hartke's, for years now... However, they just don't wanta quit :)

  • I want the tabs for this.. really badly.

  • I love this sound

  • I want this bass, too bad its nearly 2k dollars! damnit

  • There's also a live version of Arsenic performing "Goodbye", here on YouTube. Link: youtube.com/watch?v=p8lz7Cjqr2Y

  • Josh Pickeral is the best bassist I know.

    But I'm biased <3 hehe

    Awesome jam session babe!

  • @KittyCatBeauty He is quite talented!

  • the first half reminded me of tool.

  • @SkooterBush Tool also got awesome bass

  • This or the Iceman 300 ex ???

  • (part 2) She's still new to me. So I'll be sure to pay better attention to sympathetic vibration, now that you've brought it to my attention. It plays great and sounds even greater. I had to lower a few EQ's on my amp, even though my previous bass had an 18v preamp.

  • You're asking if one strings note ceases to vibrate another string, correct? Although this bass is still new to me, I've noticed that I have to pay MORE attention to muting previously played notes in order to keep the increased resonance from interfering with the current note. I havent noticed any unplayed strings humming, though, if that is your concern. I think the monorail kind of makes up for the lack of a neck thru.

  • i want one! so do those monorails do what they're said to do, supposedly quiet the sympathetic vibrating?

  • Thanks! I've been playing for about 14 years or so. You can hear the studio recording of "Goodbye", either on Arsenic's myspace page: /Arsenic or on the facebook page: /ArsenicMusic. This was just a quick take on the tune, to test the SR's tone :)
