  • this plane took off in 4 second ??? AMAIZING

  • What is the best angle of climb (Vx) for this plane?!

  • Usefull plane for shopping !!! cuz so short it can may take of my garden =D

  • Whats the useful load on the plane?

  • Up, up and ... oh it's gone.

  • Whats somethin like that cost?

  • runway,driveway....same thing....lol

  • Nice. You could build your own private runway in the back yard. 8-)

  • watch the feisler storch take off...this is a long take off by comparison.

  • @condo559 - Yes, but with less than 1/2 the HP than the STORCH.

  • @stolflyer ok..sorry i didnt know that..cheers

  • @condo559 Not from what I've seen.

  • @condo559 Yeah, but this plane is 100 hp vs. 2 or 3 times that with the Storch

  • @condo559 go back to the eye doctor.

  • my rc plane needs more room than that

  • how much moose meat could it haul out ?....thats the question....

  • when you want to get out of a sticky situation......FAST.

  • What is the motor that equips this aircraftand which the installed Power?

  • I'm not 100% sure I know what you are asking...But it is most likely a Rotax...anywhere from 50-80 HP, depending on the model...Maybe even 100 HP if it's a certain type.

  • @projetociclone Most likely Rotax 912 (80HP). May even be the 912S which produces 100hp.

  • This aircraft can use a one acre square piece of property to take off and land,, making it possible for more honest persons to own their own aircraft and airport. It is a great way to get around where road building taxes don't have to be paid and owners can live out a private life.

  • @sailordiver2007but would this be legal? i mean taking off and landing on your own property and not on a public airport & stuff..

  • Why these are not used on more drug runs, I don't know

  • It's about payload - these are light airplanes...

  • all it takes it a few kilos ;-) sweet video, thanks for the post!

  • Without a passenger you can bring the equivalent to the weight of a grown man and then some... ;-)

  • @stolflyer Yeah, you wouldn't want a tyre 'blow' out landing ;)

  • @GerbilEssences - You land so slow it's no big deal. (been there and done that)

  • @stolflyer whats the max payload you can have on this airplane

  • i know, then i wouldn't have to pay so much for my shit!!!

  • LOL. Nice comment

  • Just like GTA: San Andreas lol

  • oh god, i could run with it at this speed!!

  • very important with this clip is (look at the grass at left corner) most vids leave out temp. alt. & wind speed.....914?

  • Very ugly, but it performs.

  • You know what they say. Go ugly early!!!

  • What plane is this, and what is the company's website?

  • Zenair I think

  • check out

    w w w . z e n i t h a i r . c o m

  • Can it land on a strip that short, also?

  • That's on my short list of kits to built, along with the 601XL. That kind of takeoff can be dangerous, though, because if the engine burps you instantly nose into the ground. Looks amazing, but wouldn't make a habit of it. I'd love a 701 for exploring the Utah desert. That'd be hilarious! The world is your runway.

  • That thing can almost come to a stop in mid air.

  • @criscros7 Nearly, but even a high lift wing like the 701 needs air movement to create lift. No air movement = no lift...

  • @criscros7 if there is a head wind your going backwards, lol

  • @criscros7 - almost, but airplanes don't work that way... you still want air over the wing...

  • Geez! I'm pretty sure I could use my front yard as a strip! Talk about the ultimate bush plane, huh?

  • wow i bet with a little bit of a head wind you could hover it lol

  • I've seen it done :) Cessna 152 rolled about 20 feet and took off and basically levitated.

  • in a 152 i have flown backwards! full flaps and 50kt headwind. very eerie feeling to be going the wrong direction.

  • I've heard classroom stories about pilots doing vertical circuits in 150's in 35kt headwinds but never a 152! That's pretty amazing!

  • same here except i was in a 40kt headwing going 35kt

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

  • Notice there is NO HEADWIND!

  • What's your point?

Or are you just jealous that you don't have a plane that can do that?

  • blightsmite, you obviously know squat about airplanes and flying. By pointing out that there's no headwind, N46547 is giving this pilot a compliment. Finish your ground school, THEN comment.

  • I did some research on your counter-claim (called a friend who has his pilot's license) and I realized that I was totally wrong.

The only "flight" school I've ever had is a few years on IL-2 Sturmovik lol. While I believe that places me just above the "squat" level of knowledge .. I'm far from qualified to make the kind of statements you called me out on.

Lastly; KUDOS for not reverting to ad hominem attacks to call attention to my ignorance. It speaks highly of your character and upbringing.

  • Just wanted to help set the record straight, that's all.

  • how short it can land? how much it cost, if there is anthing that can be called a NEW ONE

  • It'll land in about the same distance it took off in. And lots can be called NEW ONES. Brand new kits start at around $30,000 US (that's right, you have to build it yourself).

  • wow

  • This is about 40 or 50 feet...

  • HOW BLOODY SHORT
