@cplover3009 I've read that even though the vents were scrapped from the game, Valve left the tools to make them.

They drop bombs.

And in chapter 4/5 they're detecting what items are going through them.

the only difference is in the game their purpose is most obviously different than planned.

@cplover3009 Yeah, i meant the ones that were in tests that sucked up turrets and other things. And you can make the ones that suck up turrets in P2AT. I just made one myself. :)

Both GLADOS & Weatley are artificial intelligences put in core processors. They only control Aperture when attatched to GLADOS's "body".

In portal 2 you (Weatley) wake up GLADOS & later on Weatley gains control over Aperture. About 70% of the game is about shutting down Weatley & bringing GLADOS back.
