Urge fell victim of a bunch of factors. Lack of air play, from when they signed to a major label. They are the best underground band that never made mainstreem ever. They are short of a charismatic frontman, they never would given the right promotion. If you listen to exit the dragon its a masterpiece and it can only be parted from your brains thru surgery. I heard that song so much I fucked up the cd. Miss these guys. Songs like these are timeless. Would sell a lot today.......
I'm a hardcore METAL head and I still love this record! Used to do this tune in a cover band I was in back in the day....good ol' rock in roll! Awesome track!
I didn't notice it until I read your question. You are correct. He also looks a great deal like one of my boyfriends who I guess also looks like Christopher Walken.
Me and my mates found this track on a shitty promo cd(contained a lots of rubbish performer)a couple of years ago(I'd say ten haha). This song is absolutely fucking ROCK.I am glad I found it again.Hope Castro likes it too!!!!!
Ugliest dudes with the hottest chick. Normally, I'd be jealous. However, 'Sister Havana' will still ROCK 50 years from now. UO has got be be one of the most under-rated Rock Bands in History...... I love them. I hope they steal Motley Crew's hot chicks.
DUDE! I was at that show! What a fuckin blast then had drinks with "King" Roeser and Blackie Onassis at the Comet Lounge. Definitely a brush with greatness!
URGE OVERKILL - Is it not well past due for this band to get its due...start demanding air play for this band's material thru your local radio station...as they were the only true indie act from the 90s. Everybody else sold out!!

Heard this song on The Current Radio this aft. I'd forgot about this band 'til today! Remember drinking beer with Nate & other friends at Flour's place in Mpls. back in early 90's. Good song, guys!
I can't believe you think they only had two good songs! All of "Americruiser" and "Supersonic Storybook" are fantastic, and Jesus Urge Superstar is great, too.
Just kidding dude. But Nash is a dead ringer for Walken. This is one of those songs I never get sick of. My IPod says so. Video is slighty cheesy but I would love to fly one of those airboats.
Excellent song from the 90's and of course every fucktard kid has to come on here and give some dippy comment. What's wrong man, little hard for ya'? How about some Jonas brothers? There's your contribution.. A pack of Faggots.
The CD this is on, "Saturation," is one I can't live without. This is the first track, and there are much better ones on the CD. Listen to it with an audio that has very good bass, and the second track, "Tequila Sundae" will shake your house apart. It has low notes that even above average systems can't hit right.
No, but I do get that a lot. Apparently I resemble him. Last week an old lady chased me down in the grocery store parking lot and almost got me killed, yelling "chris, chrissy, chrissy!"
...Rock oriented, this would simply be good Rock-n-Roll, guitar has too much crunch and the upbeat pace and vocals are rough around the edges, however it is a catchy melody, too Rockin' for bubble gum *pop but not Heavy enough to be METAL, there's a hint of KISS "I was made for Lovin You" in that break, a comparable style IMO would be Loverboy "Workin' for the Weekend" just Rock n Roll without subcategory entanglements or limitations, Boston "Smokin'" is another good one
Yes, there is a sitar. It's an electric sitar run through a flanger. The electric sitar was very popular in the 60s with bands like The Strawberry Alarm Clock and the Lemon Pipers. Look it up.

OMG I've been trying to remember this song forever and I finally remember some lyrics to it like 5 minutes ago. I always thought he was saying girl you gotta roll, she gone better. So I was always looking up that part until I remember the "there's no time to lose we could have a holiday. I got so lucky...
I always thought they were saying "she's no where".I bought the cassette back in the early 90's and I still didn't know all the lyrics to this song.Awesome song, definately in the top 5 songs of the 90's.

I saw UO at Bottom Lounge in Chicago on July 12th, a couple of weeks ago. They were pretty good, but Nash and King's vocals together were pretty bad. I assume it's partly because they have played very few live shows together in the past couple of years. More gigs = more practice = better harmonizing? Anyway, I hope they put out a new album soon!
I remember i heard these guys when I was at my first rehab in chicago, around the time of the 1st gulf war. On one of our outings I went to a used record shop and picked up a casette of "stull" after thta it was "exsit the dragon" Damn I wish they still produced
Saturation was a great record from start to finish. One of the best Chicago based bands ever! I just wish they would put out some new material and tour some more! Where's Blackie? (Bad news with demons I hear.)
This album is great...my favorite UO album and song! Great album from start to finish. Wore out the cassette in my car and still have the CD I bought back when I was in high school!
Stuff magazine did a list a few years back of the 100 most underrated albums of all time. "Saturation" was #5. With good reason, too. Every song on that CD kicks ass. My favorite track from this same CD is "Nite and Grey." This is my "stranded on a desert island" CD, if you know what I mean.

Everybody's waitin' for the man to come down from the tower
Every day is just like a vacation with you, YHE King, BLACKIE, and I
I'm watchin you and Fidel Castro in the sand, assassin!", or:

Stuff magazine did a list a few years back of the 100 most underrated albums of all time. "Saturation" was #5. With good reason, too. Every song on that CD kicks ass. My favorite track from this same CD is "Nite and Grey." This is my "stranded on a desert island" CD, if you know what I mean.

It's with songs like these that I miss the 90s. The music was so good back in the day!!! Thanks for posting the video.
