  • lol is it just me or is it kina creepy that his mom(all be it a human) is watching him have sex? Only kidding good luck with the babies

  • think about how the she(female prasinus) must feel... xD

  • Awesome.. Hopefully they continue to breed and you get some eggs. I found that prasinus will breed maybe once or twice a day, 3 or 4 times a week for a few months prior to eggs. The trick to getting eggs out before they eat them, is noticing when she's lumpy with eggs, and you'll then observe her become restless prior to egg deposition. Incubation should be 86F at about 80% humidity for 165 to 180 days. Good luck.

  • @davidtobler Thanks:) They are still joined and breeding all over the cage:) When my blue trees bred they did it non stop for about a week and a half. I am very nervous about collecting eggs and incubating. I thought the incubation temps were higher?

  • @TheReptileWhisperer Just keep her well fed, lots of heavy misting and high humidity. I would probably suggest having adding a deep and narrow hidebox for her to lay in, but it's not necessary. The toughest part will be the incubation of eggs. I would go with a no substrate method, and temps can be in between 84F and 86F. I'm getting my info from personal exp. with breeding prasinus and from a friend who has bred them and from the San Diego Zoo's breeding summary on breeding these monitors.
