Gitzo Products Used in Iceland

very nice setup! I personally prefer kangrinpoche ballhead than the Gitzo... The Gitzo sometimes cannot lock well. But the Gitzo tripod is simply the best!

Yeah, agree with you. Especially Kangrinporche's NB1A, very solid. Although Gitzo rules the tripod area, Kangrinpoche definitely owns Gitzo on the ballhead. Best "Made in China" product ever. My gear is Gitzo GT2530 + Kangrinpoche NB2B.

WOW. good for you! I wish I could get a Kangrinpoche NB2A but here in the states you just can't find it... I ended up with a Markins M10, that was also well made and solid like a rock. Again for tripod, I'm with Gitzo, I need to travel sometimes so I got myself a GT2540. Pretty much the same as yours except that the GT2530 should be more sturdy with each section being a little longer.
