i put on my ipod and play from there so its bad protection cuz my drums werent loud but my music was so i tested my ears and my right is partially deaf, but since i got my ride(zildjian zbt that went under in hurricane ike) when you hit it like a crash it rumbles the whole house lol

I don't really hear any problem with his tempo the only thing that could led to timing problems is that he plays it out of the speakers rather than wears ear phones it's makes a different because it takes time for sound to travel even that short distance.
