@TheFroggy000 sure sure , but you have to realize that even if either races are warrior races by definition , they are on different terms , Brutes are modeled after tribal warriors such as Zulus or Scottsmen whereas elites are modeled after the Samurai. Elite doctrine is much better suited to a big scale scenario , such as this battle

@arraneeno Forgive me for sounding fanboyish here, but there's a reason for that. During and after Halo 2, after the Elites were stripped of their power to guard the prophets and to defend Forerunner technology, the Brutes came into power and high Covenant officers and such began testing biological experiments on the elites. That's why the Elites in Halo 3 are shorter and have a hunched-back, as apposed to the Elites in Halo CE, Halo 2, and Reach, that stand upright.

@arraneeno Reach was a good mix of the whole series with the body, minors looked cool, but everything more high-ranking was silly. And the face looked kinda dumb. Think the teeth were the problem, ridicilously long and sharp.

People bitched after 2 that they made the aliens too human so they kinda did turn them into animals with 3 and reach. With the exception of elites that needed to get some ally sympathy points.

This is my favorite cutscene, too. I love seeing the Elites and humans working together and combining their forces and resources. I just wish they had some hunters in there too, since the only reason the Hunters are even part of the covenant is because of the Elites. I also wish the grunts joined, but sadly they went with the dumb brutes.

@dsd313 well.. my guess why he likes her so much is cuz shes like all he has left. He lost his fellow Spartans and Dr. Halsey and everyone else except Johnson, who he barely knows. Either way he like lost his family and he got pretty close to Cortana so he probably doesn't want to lose her like he lost everyone else. Cuz shes all he has left she must mean a lot to him. and in the end he loses Johnson too. So shes like all he has.
