  • where u get the paper

  • @CrazyMrBanana Craft stores like Michael's and AC Moore

  • yami lived in my apartment building. He was the sweetest man. He taught me origami, he talked to me, he gave me his book for free. ahhaha i made these when i was like 10. haha Took an hour or so. ahha

  • are the colors you put in the color side up pile the colors youll see?????

  • @sellenagirl Yes. If using kami paper (color on one side and white on the other), half are folded color side up, the other half are folded white side up. That way when the model is assembled, the color side (from both piles) will be what shows. Don't forget you can download a diagram for this model at my Marigami website.

  • I completed the kawaski rose, ancient dragon, ninja master, but i cant finnish tis the lock things didnt work!!!

  • ''Level: Intermediate.''

Yeah Right...So the advanced level consists of fully automated mechatronic robots?

  • 0:47 Use a hammer to make good creases.

  • Origami paper is colored on one side and white on the other, that's why there's white side and colored side.

    Thumbs up so people know.

  • i was confused about the color side up and the white side up...im so glad i have paper colored on both sides

  • YES 3 HOURS PAID OFF

  • im a kid but i dont get the part where you have to make the other units white? in another tutorial they didnt do this

  • @jajefan123456789 It will come out differently if you fold them all color side up. But don't worry, you will only see the color sides when you rotate the finished model.

  • @SuperOrigami123 I made one of 12 and it is very pretty....Do you recomend me to do it with 24 pieces??? Is it prettier??

  • @mitzmayo welll actualy it gets hard and when you try doing to fliping thing it becomes very limp and its easier to connect because of how much units you have so yeah i just recomening that you try because i only used browrn and blue so if you could make a vid showing what colors you used id like to seee that..thx

  • @SuperOrigami123 you got it on your 1st try? i'm stuck on the part where you have to connect the 1st paper to the last paper for more than an hour now..any help with that?

  • thanks dude!

  • YES!!! i finally made it after 4 hrs!!!!! i am sooo excited right now =)))))

  • 6/5

  • its is fun thanK you

  • cool

  • I just want to thank you for taking the time to upload this video. My 7 year old son had a great time making this. It kept him busy for hours :) It ripped in one spot for him, so he just replaced that one piece.

  • omg, thank you so much for these instructions, they're great, it's so cool :))

  • omg thank you!~ becuz i live near michaels but i never new they had origami paper :o well thx! imma go buy some today tytytyty!!!!o and also another question is A4 paper like construction paper or is it colored paper that is like easy to fold like origami paper?

  • @xtaaaaaa A4 paper is the standard size for copy paper for most of the world. The US uses letter size, 8 1/2 inch x 11. A4 paper is slightly narrower and longer, 8.3in × 11.7in.

  • @Marigami Construction paper really isn't good for origami because of its thickness and because it cracks easily. Some people wet-fold with it and that works for some models. But some scrapbooking paper is nice for boxes.

  • were do u usually get oragami paper at becuz im tired of using blank paper D:

  • @xtaaaaaa At local arts & crafts stores like Michael's and AC Moore.

  • Ik krijg echt het laatste stuk niet voor elkaar, waar je de 2 kanten aan elkaar verbind... Na meerdere hopeloze pogingen is het papier van mijn laatste module gescheurd :(

  • I'm sorry to hear that. Stretching them out before trying to connect the first and last units should help.

  • is wel beetje papier verspilling maar wel nice

  • Maar het is een goed gebruik voor papier! ;-)

  • i forgot to say thanks for the vid

  • it's better to fold the papers 1 by 1

  • barley finished! works ok because it was hard puting the peices on each end together but i got it and its kinda messed up but i love it! wen i get more origami paper ill come back to make another! TNX 4 EASY STEPS! really good and fun a must make origami and 5/5 on vid man tnx so much!

  • AWESUM!!!!!

my baby brother fell in love with it when i made him one.

Very creative, and good effort with neatness!

  • were do u get folding bones any way XD

  • The ones I have were given to me as gifts, but online websites that sell origami supplies have them. But I also use the flash from a gallon milk jug's handle. They're free (usually on the floor under the milk racks).

  • this is amazing. almost done with it. Great job!

  • I'm making it out of big sheets of thin construction paper.

I have to fold all the units seperatly, but it;s defientally worth it!!

  • OMG this is so simple!

thanks a lot! 1 question though.. if i was using 2 colors of paper, do i pile the same colors together or do I pile em in alternate orders?

  • I put them in alternating order, but experiment with putting them the in the other way and see what interesting effect you get!

  • THANK YOU i really understood what to do because you were very descript

  • wow, amazing tutorial, i think i might just go and make that myself now! thanks it's just brilliant! I'm just asking, can you make a tutorial on how to make the jacobs ladder please? i really want to make it and i don't understand the diagrams very well.

  • Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! It looks like I won't have time to do Jacob's Ladder for awhile... have you tried the diagram noted as "Square Panel version"?
