@afwain by blue she meas that she has a cool undertne in her skin ( so a blue/purple undertone) if you have a warm undertone you have a yellow or golden undertone. Hope this was helpful :)

@iomilolo blotting is important as it helps to keep the colour on longer and removes any excess which is not needed :) I agree, she did a good job with this. I love it!

@afwain Under tones, if you look at the veins in the inside of you wrist. If they're greenish your cool toned and if they're blueish you warm toned, So she probably has blue veins in her wrist if she knows what she's talking about. Which mean she is there for warm toned. So her face undertone is more blue.

in reality it doesn't take that long, she was talking so it took longer. also, lipstick makes the lips look more moisturized, a stain tends to make the lips appear dry.

At 1:12 she's referring to the fact that your skin tone is a color, and colors are made of a combination of red, blue, and green. She meant that her skin has more blue in it than other people's skin tones. She DID NOT mean that her skin was blue.

Blue undertones, they are usually present in very pale people. I myself have a yellow hue with blue undertones. It's important to know this when selecting colours for anything. People with blue undertones should stay away from warm hair colours, ie) I have an ash blonde hair colour, caramels and gold hues are a major no, no.
