My friend could have died on that a few months ago. We got onto the ride, and once we got to the hill climb, we noticed that her restrains were't on. We yelled at the guys operating it, and they hit the emergency stop. But if for some reason we hadn't noticed, I don't know if she could have held on. We have to be evacuated from the ride because they couldn't reverse it. Apparently, that had happened 4 times that day.

i love steel hawg and all, but i think it is time for another steel coaster by 2012 in indiana beach. They opened a new section of the park this year and I am thinking another steel coaster with 3 years. Looking at Diamondback and Magnum xl-200 might give them some ideas as what it might be like. Actually, Mumbo Jumbo is the replica. I am pretty sure this one was built first, then Mumbo Jumbo came along and made it steeper by like 1 degree. It's a pretty common practice...i.e. Top Thrill Dragster and Kingda Ka. Sadly Kinga Ka gets all the press now because it's like 10 feet taller. Kind of lame if you ask me...
