your estimate of "30 mph tops" is ridiculous. Notice how the trajectory of the ball is basically level from the point of release to its hitting the camera. This alone should indicate that the ball is travelling much faster than that. In addition, the player who threw the ball has been clocked well in excess of 70 mph.
