You're cute!! ...If you're not wearing much I would definitely give you something to stay nice and warm!! lol ...body warmers are 3x bigger than hand warmers and don't weight much. :)

If you people are going to carry one of these DO YOURSELF A FAVOR. Fully unpack the thing, refold it and put it in a ziplock or nylon stuff sack. Plenty of people have been found dead by SAR with emergency blankets in their possession still folded up. If you are reaching for one of these in real life you are going to be so cold that your fine motor skills are going to be seriously degraded to the point where opening a vacuum packed emergency blanket will be almost impossible.

@wye4379 if a person carrying one of these gets to that point, what are they doing out on their own,common knowlege would tell you to bivvy up long before this point,and make a hot drink.those who get that cold in any situation should not be on the hills ,just stay home and play the PS3 or X box.The SAR teams are getting fed up with would be bear grylls types getting into trouble going off half cocked in the winter,summer,autumn oh sod it all bloody year.

@576ito1080p Not sure where you live, but where I hike/climb weather can sneak up on you fast (nice dayhike to blizzard in 5 min). While I agree with you on the Bear Grylls factor, plenty of highly trained teams have found themselves in bad situations in the mountains. Even if you are highly trained (me 20+ years of climbing), if you have no tools to get you out of the situation you are going to be a popsicle. My only point was to make sure that you can use what you have in your pack.

@wye4379 I totally agree with you as for where im in Kent in the UK,not that has much to do with me being on a scottish mountain in sub zero temps and the wind blowing a hooley , so i know what you mean ,even if you have done it for a few years ;o) for me going out started in 78 err 1978 that is..my point was when any of us are out dont take chances you can't get out of.

Hey @PeakSurvival, make sure you use sun block even in the winter if you are going to be in the sunshine. And a good pair of sun glasses that block ultra violet rays.

I think another use for it would be for outdoor sporting events, like football games when it is very cold and windy out. And if you cut the bottom you can walk with it on and probably be good to go for a halloween outfit. :-)

Its very mild weather here in Britain for this time of year at moment. Survival Bag or light weight bivi is well worth having which i used few times in bad weather....

I have something like this I carry in the car it is a bivy sack ~$30 Cabellas I think you recommended this any way I tote that and a hammock no weight at all but if I am ever traveling and get stranded I have a backup to get a nights sleep.

People don't realize how cold it gets in Canada, I am from Calgary Alberta and I have gone camping in the winter a few times up by Mt. Robson, 30 or 40 below is crazy cold, people should not camp in that for fun unless they have some serious gear which sadly I did not , we just lived by the fire all night - LOL

A mesh over the face would have been good to keep the bugs out. It would probably keep your face a bit warmer whilst allowing moisture to leave, rather than having to keep your face/mouth fully exposed. Thanks for the review.
