  • OhGawd!!!

    That is absolutely hysterical!!

    XD

  • With so many of these classic SNL skits, the audiance seems to stammer and hesitate at some of the great lines. Was it that the comedy was so refreshingly cutting edge or was everyone just stoned off their asses?

  • "The Best of the Best"

  • Full skit

    .youtube.com/watch?v=H61agOWWNE0

  • Parliament has always had it's share of douche bags, and always will!" My God, this was funny stuff! Having Buck Henry as part of the cast as well as writing the skits could only have been amazing fun.

Really cutting edge comedy, even for today.

  • you could tell right away that bill murray almost broke out laughing when he said "yes Douchebag what kind of invention are you sitting on?" Love the old days of watching the SNL. Still love the church lady.

  • wow a snl skit thats actually funny i miss the good old days.

  • EPIC FUNNY = "Give me a sandwich and a douchebag....and there's nothing I can not do"

  • This is maybe my favorite classic SNL skit of all time. It's amazing how these guys held it together without completely losing it on camera.

  • thank you so much for posting this!

  • in honor of the royal wedding

  • give me a sandwich and a douchebag ;)

  • Give me a sandwich and a douchebag, and theres nothing I cannot do...Hahaha Nothing funnier...

  • Wow fabrecht2 you seem to think homophobia is the height of wit. It isn't.

    Hate isn't funny. Douchebags are.

    You douchebag

  • @falbrecht2 Dude, quit sippin on the haterade. What did Queers ever do to you? This is comin from a strait guy.

  • It refers to a razor company that ran ads in the 70s and 80s about have razors with dual blades. That's why Lady Wilkinson talks about the "underarms".

  • Don't understand the part about the wilkinsons

  • i remember when this first aired i laughed my ass off then and now

  • "oh just some vinegar and water please" hahahahaah

  • Is this really the first use of the word "douchebag" other than the literal use? anyone know of anything earlier?

  • @chxstfamine You guys are stoopid this aint gay you are.It is brilliant and if you don't get it's because the Earl of Sandwhich was a real person all the others are made up...get it ? The Wilkinson WAS wilkinson razor blades from that time ca.1974 like the first double razors

  • @chxstfamine no! but the most current use is when I read your remark..douchebag! it isn't based on the fact that it's true it's based on the earl sandwhich being a true person?how old are you?better remark to you would be...your parents were real douchebags!!

  • @3RDNBZ dude chill. i was only curious if anyone knew if this particular use of the word "douchebag" was the first one used in this particular way. jesus, what a troll.

  • This was always my favorite SNL skit, even nowadays.

@chxstfamine, no, "douchebag" was used as slang long before this, about the '60s or so. This whole thing wouldn't make nearly as much sense otherwise.

  • @jestysoup do you have any references as to where to look? The whole reason I found this was trying to determine the first use in popular media. It kind of stems from a discussion I was having elsewhere. If you can, thanks!

  • @chxstfamine @chxstfamine Slang dictionaries date it back to the 60's, or at least "douche" as a derogatory term. My own mother even once talked about hearing it a lot in school (not thrown her way, I'm assuming), which would have been at the same time.
