Yeah, turtles in Zakintos must be great but you will be very surprised to know that Turkish Antalia has them in crowds! It's not just one turtle there - I've seen several at a time last August! Really wonderful!

Just come back from there. Went on a trip on a boat that I'm pleased to say were very respectful of the turtles and kept back as not to stress the turtle that we saw. However there were about 4 other smaller Glass Bottom Boats which were all over the one that came to the surface. They were practically on its back. The poor thing was obviously very stressed, but they still kept surrounding it. It was horrible to see.

I just came back from there and had the privilege of seeing them too. The volunteers out there are doing a great job. We must ALL take responsibility to keep the beaches clean.

Theres a turtle in agios sostis near laganas, that comes to port in the mornings when the fishermen return. They feed her and she poses.:-)

i ove turtles i went to see the loggerhead turtles in greece i went to tsivili though it is the best!! im going back to the same place next year
