To start off Thank you. This video is very informative. I'm new to pro tools and just learning but I was wondering how you have your send fader in the send area of the input fader? Mine keeps popping out.
Sir, I am new to Pro Tools and have been trying to learn about the many plug ins available. I must say, your communication/teaching skills are excellent. Thank you for explaining the send/bus concept and why one should go that route with respect to reverb.
Great work!! thanx for all your help.. question.. ?? is it better to convert the analog 1-2 link to bus1-2 for example.. or is it better to create a bus link on the sendz section? because i notice when i put it on the sends portion i have 2 volumes to edit.. do you understand? you use this example on this video..
Hi. Do you have to create the separate in addition to the bus? I would normally use (in other DAW) a bus for vocal reverb and send directly to that bus. Thx.
thanks helped me out alot I was going the other route with just using the reverb on the same track now working using the other track for just the reverb sounds way better Thanks for the tips
How can i lower or edit one hight pitch word in a verse with ruining the whole song..is there a way i can highlight that region and just edit that one portion in the song. I have protools 8 please help.

Only thing i can think of is using pitch shift. I've never tried it myself but try highlighting the section you want to change and select a pitch shift preview and process. Be sure to make a duplicate for easy swapping if you don't like the processed vocal.
I've never done it myself so not sure how natural it will sound. Or you can buy Antares Autotune plug in and fix that single note. But I would definitely re record the track if possible.
Thank god i happened upon this tutorial and i subscribed immediately --- i'm new to pro tools --- kind of --- been away from it for awhile and i cannot wait to drive home from work and put these principles into practice --- thanks!
Great video -- you're a good instructor. When you're explaining the pre- and post-fader options, you're using a little mix window (with the "M" and the "P") that's in the "vocal track" window right below "Sends" and "Reverb." I don't have that little mixer. The only way I can adjust the level or reverb is in a separate, floating "Reverb" window. How can I get each of my tracks to have that reverb fader in the "Mix" window of Pro Tools?
Not sure which part you're referring to, but most reverbs have both a delay (or pre-delay) function and also a decay function, so I think we're both right!
what is the song title and the artist if you mind thank you

@ZGUNZMUSIC It's better to use a send, so you have a separate volume control JUST for the amount of reverb.

@ZGUNZMUSIC Command/Ctrl-click on the send.

It's a decay not delay.
