I know what ye mean, I have a gin bollero 3, safe in the air but groundhandling can be scary in gusts! I have the PG tattoos (arm grazes) to prove it from last weekend at Caburn ;)

Yep, I see a lot of pilots with DESIGN caused problems (mainly on the ground) flying with the newer '1' and '1-2' wings.... L O N G brakes are in my opinion a KILLER!...... It's better to have shorter control travel and FAR better trained pilots!
'Normal' PG training GENERATES 'normal' PG accident rates.... change the training and avoid 'low' rated wings and its EASY to slash PG accident rates by up to 95% :-)

Yep, I had a second photo shoot (couple of days ago/no video shot) and so met up with Colin for another evening in the Edinburgh area (new sites again)
He was using his other (older 2nd hand) wing which has much better ground control due to having a FAR shorter brake travel, better 'roll' harness control.
As you know I am not a fan of the latest 'safe' wings! (TOO long brakes/poor harness roll control!)
