  • You'd have to have balls that fucking clank to ride that on the street under full throttle! He was no where near full throttle when making those passes, that engine had a lot more power to give still!

    Fucking Epic Sporty!!!

  • My 89ci SS motor made 108 hp with 27 degree timing in 1998 at a low 6000 rpm .

  • I watched this again and all I can think of is grabbin the throttle and holdin on for dear life

    LMAO

that bike has to be a freakin ball to ride

  • this is just sick

  • packing power like that, is there any air cooled motorbike that could keep up? :)

  • when folks build bikes like this they are not temporary owned bikes, this is beautiful man, 142hp man thats fawking beautiful, love the 883 sleeper stickers LOL i picture some fool on a victory or triumph trying to race ya seeing them stickers LOL

  • Now it's ready for a turbo !!!! Lol

  • @gebrono No turbo on a pure hot rod ;)

  • Where do you order this kit? I'm in the US.

  • @26ModelTford

    What kit?

  • @kvadrupel I meant where do you get the 100ci engine, or kit? I culdn't find any dealers selling it on google search.

  • @26ModelTford

These 100" and 91" sporsterengines are manufactured by S&S. You can view the specs att teir site, google for s&scycle and you will find S&S home page. Order via your local S&S-dealer or watch for these engines on Ebay.

  • @26ModelTford

    try sscycle

    .com

  • respect! awesome bike!

  • by the looks of how that thing accelerates, I would say the dyno numbers are LOW!

    sick bike, I love it.

  • Awesome work. Congratulation.

Just few stupid questions, not technical. Where does the fuel tank come from (Sporster model year)? Is it an original unit or an aftermarket piece? Where did you find the fuel tank decals?

    Regards

    Cheers

  • @alportone The fuel tank is the original 1993 oem 8.5 litres tank.

The colour is Mopars Hemi orange. The tank decals is harley oem decals from sportster 883R. This bike was a xlh1200 from the beginning. But the 883R decals was choosen because of it's resemblence with the XR750 decals. Besides It's nice with the sleeper factor from the 883cc-decals.

  • Hello,

thank you for your reply. If it is possible, I'd like to see more detailed pictures of the bike and other videos. I'm interested to know all the components you used to transform the original XLH in this amazing superbike. So if you have time, please send me material on your Sportster.

My email address is the follow:

    alportone@yahoo.it

    Regards

    Alessandro

  • 125hp sporty... sick

  • @oaliaso Thanks! In fact it made 142 rwhp and 181 Nm in the dyno this summer. Thanks to fuel injection, ported heads and my new tig-welded exhaust

  • Thats one serious sporty ,well done ,its a pity harley couldnt bring out something like this..

  • wow awesome numbers!! i cant wait to do the 1200 kit on my 02 sporty. ill put up a nice vid of the dyno and a few with me riding. got most parts like the pistons, cams valves and more just need to wait on head work and the build process. =)

  • Has a magazine story been done on this? I'm sick of looking at these hundred-thousand-dollar one-off wild customs.

This Sporty is a real project.

  • @AirCargoHeavy

Yes 2 swedish sportbike magazines has contacted me and done articles about the bike. Harley magazines dont seem to be interested. :D

  • Awesome machine!

How much engineering had to be done to wedge that engine in there?

  • @AirCargoHeavy

The S&S sportster engine fits right in. But i chosed to raise the top frame tube by 1/4" in order to get access enough to take off the heads with engine in frame.

This winter Proservice have ported the heads and changed intake valves to Kibblewhites nailheads. I will try to upload a film from the dyno tests. I guess I'll have the bike in the dyno in May.

    Thanks

    /J

  • Shame there so small as i would have one of these bad boys, awsome sound awsome power.

  • Thanks. Yes the peanut tank is perfect on these. When low on fuel it's about time to stretch my legs :D

  • I do the same, I got a 113 cu in on my FXSTS, that's amazing the power delivered to rear wheel! I like!

  • Yes its amazing, especially since I still use the stock S&S600 cam delivered with the engine

  • yes it is I have also the same cam! this week end we are riding the "500 miles" with the Antwerpen Diamond Club; it will be fun to drive all night long with thousand or more HD, roaring all night!

  • lol,,Couldnt help but smile at the end when the front end was lifting off the ground.

    Amazing.

Why does the headlight only come on at certain times when its on the dyno?

  • Thanks!

I put the hi/lo switch in the middle befoer each dyno pull. Trying to keep the headlight off. To protect the bulb from popping due to the vibrations above 6000 rpm. But the vibrations flipped the switch to high beam when the engine started to rev. :S

  • Amazing!

The best sounding sporty I have heard.

    And the HP is crazy.

    Well done!

  • absolutely wicked!!!!

  • Thanks! Sportsters are cool! :D

  • That sucker ROCKS!

  • Thanks! :D
