Around the time the band's first video compilation was released, I heard a figure of $15,000 for every minute that ends up in the finished video. Even in spite of the comparative ease with which the tools can be obtained now, that cost can only have gone up in those 15+ years, unless the band shot/directed/edited it all themselves.
Too bad the audio compression makes this song sound like it was recorded with a five-dollar mic being blared at by a megaphone with a damaged driver, inside a tin can. Real musicians like My DyING BRIDE deserve better.

I love his ability to express frustration and emotions. When I listened to this album the first time, part 0:45 to 3:00 of this song (or 2:20 in this shortened version) gave me goosebumps, I almost couldn't listen anymore, because its so good.
I have not heard this song since I bought the album in.. '04 (After listening to it religiously for months). Still remember the lyrics, still an absolutely fantastic song. Definitely one of my favorites by MDB, if not all-time.

In this particular song for instance, they have this gothic female walking all sexy and all. She's gorgeous yes, but still, it just doesn't feel My Dying Bride-ish to me compared to the pre The Light At The End Of The World era (exluding 34.788%... Complete)
Aaron is a real genius with his vocals. The dark lyrics just fit so good in the dark music that no-one could make the music more atmospheric.. so dark, beatiful, terrible and orgasmic..

Yeah, totally! Death Metal was born out of thrash, It just evolved into a more aggressive sound, around "83".
Bands like Possessed & Mantas, which later became Death, are known to be the pioneers the genre.
It just became big in the 90's...

I have not heard this song since I bought the album in.. '04 (After listening to it religiously for months). Still remember the lyrics, still an absolutely fantastic song. Definitely one of my favorites by MDB, if not all-time.

In this particular song for instance, they have this gothic female walking all sexy and all. She's gorgeous yes, but still, it just doesn't feel My Dying Bride-ish to me compared to the pre The Light At The End Of The World era (exluding 34.788%... Complete)

Aaron is a real genius with his vocals. The dark lyrics just fit so good in the dark music that no-one could make the music more atmospheric.. so dark, beatiful, terrible and orgasmic..
