  • Great landing

  • @TheCrazyJungleMan I like that our spyplanes go all the way into orbit now!

  • I have heard this maybe used to fly supplies to the ISS.

  • This thing can thumb its nose at the Predator Drones!

  • what plane was it flying underneath ????

  • @M374EVL I could be wrong, but that looks like White Knight 1, the vehicle that launched Space Ship One.

  • @40390576 i guess its that we have all theses great weapons but without the correct intel it's really just a giant waste of money

  • Very very good landing who was the pilot?

  • @irusev Skynet

  • @40390576 he sent me not so kind private email if memory serves.....And Christ was very critical of some people at certain times through out the bible....Example..... Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves.

He /Christ flipped a few tables to get their attention...

And the old testament, shows time and time again wrath is necessary from time to time....

  • @ClarksonsinUSA WTH are you religious rhetorics doing on a commentary of a video about technology? MAKE YOUR OWN VIDEOS.

  • @nakazatoGTR I do.. ;)

  • @ClarksonsinUSA you are too blinded to see that i posted my own videos. now behave, follow internet etiquette (if you have it) and stop commenting off topic.

  • @nakazatoGTR its and open forum....Genius....

  • @ClarksonsinUSA it is open but still, be appropriate. oh wait, just like jihadist, EVERYthing you do is appropriate. rodney coronad isnt animation. dumb troll

  • もしや 映画「アルマゲドン」みたいなことしたら、ぶっとびやで~

  • Flight? That was more of a controlled fall! Damn that came in fast. Perfect landing though.

  • Why don't we have giant space ships that are assembled in space because their so huge like the one in the movie The Rodger Young - Starship Troopers?

  • @omega4chimp 1.Gravity will definitely F you up. Kinda the most reason its hard for space. Plus miniature rocks could destroy your ship that are flying at like 1,000,000 mph.

  • @shadowhunter388 um no you would not be able to read that on radar and what missile would do that but one the us missile from a navy ship

  • @USAmilitarypower When did I ever say a missile? Plus what are you even saying? I was talking about space and you brung up some random story about rockets being fired on a navy ship and not being detected by radar. That had nothing to do with my comment.... Just saying....

  • @shadowhunter388 hahah i was makeing shit up i subscribed and sent you a freind request USA ALL THE WAY!!!!

  • Lowest cost reusable spacecraft...

  • interstellar icbm

  • @HaamSammich No...a Energy Weapon

  • @Spore1147 explain

  • @Spore1147 A ICBM you can shot only one, a Energy Weapon can you reload. The Wood fire in Russia was taken by the X-37b you can self search Information.

  • what is this thing ment to do?

  • @xxbeeler65xx UAV into space

  • @xxbeeler65xx its meant to piss away tax money, if the united states cant kill nomads in caves with a 30000 million dollar airplane, why do we need this

  • @xxbeeler65xx loser...

  • @xxbeeler65xx Many things, but one of the main things is give more information on how to make more capable aircraft. Like Darpa's Falcon HTV-2. But I'm not sure.

  • It's a bus with flippers.

  • @ryaninwatson Indeed!

  • came in a little too hot.

  • The mothership is Scaled Composites' White Knight. Same one that launch SpaceShipOne. NASA using it now.

  • wow, that must have been a 30° descent. What is the landing speed? Is it very high?

  • If the Shuttle's landing speed is around 220kts then I'm guessing this little thing comes in between 250-300. lol

  • ICMB delivery service of our time.

  • What? What was that vehicle that carried the x-37..? What that another drone of sorts?

  • Good stuff

  • what's the plane it was launched from?

  • 1:21...I need a band-aid!

  • Look mum! No chutes!

That X-40A must have extremely good brakes or they just like sightseeing on that incredibly long runwway

  • Very nice.

  • awesome!

  • seems like an extremely fast landing.. maybe the short stub wings needs a higher approach speed.. would be scary for a manned plane.

  • @RChakravarti Psst, this is a robot (unmanned) vehicle.

  • @seyfarth : Hence my comment " ... .would be scary for a manned plane." :) Thanks, nevertheless.

  • @RChakravarti Sorry, I meant to reply to someone else. My mistake.

  • is this whats taken the space shuttles place?

  • @KJT922010T didnt they scrap this? :S

  • @KJT922010T i believe it's unmanned.

  • @KJT922010T no.

  • whats the point of this aircraft? anyone know?

  • @blazing6190 unmanned retrievable orbital vehicle

  • @blazing6190 One of it's goals is to be a step towards development of autonimous, reusable space vehicles capable of runway landings. Beyond that, not much is really known about it.

  • @simav8r Sounds like the Space-Shuttle but that is already here and has been for a long time.

  • It's kinda of like a slightly aerodynamic rock, no? ;P

  • whoa, that thing lands fast

  • @iAirsoft69 Yet so smooth.

  • @iAirsoft69 it looks like it drops faster than the shuttle landing .. like 2k feet per second

  • @QdjjbQ A skydiver drops 2k feet in 10 seconds!

  • @seq165432 A skydiver gets also has more air resistance, which results in a lower terminal velocity... maybe if we knew how high this was dropped yo

  • @eforfailure Yeah - The comment wasn't particularly relevant to above 10,000 feet. I think at terminal at 12k feet, a stable horizontal skydiver in freefall would only get only 4 seconds per thousand. I was simply blown away how very very very fast this thing looses altitude.

  • @iAirsoft69 Probably flies like a sack of potatoes.

  • new space shuttle?

  • What is the name of that carrying aircraft?

  • @LTF85199 i googled it, it is the white knight

  • Comment removed

  • Scaled does a lot of gov work:)

  • They used the same launch vehicle as the one used for Virgin's orbital spacecraft?

  • how advanced is the ai on board the shuttle

  • @SuperKeithygeorge Its CPU is a neronet processor, a learning computer
