Paul wants it to be the individual's choice on whether to have insurance or not. Obamacare REQUIRES all people to have some form of insurance or fines will be levied. Paul is not getting rid of insurance, he wants big gov't to stop forcing citizens to have it. Insurance allows dr's to charge higher prices, thus feeding inflation.

The minimum wage is really an illusion. If you look at it, you will notice that the cost of living goes up when minimum wage is increased. Rich people don't want to take the cut, they pass it on to you. The people who pay are us who don't get a raise, but cost of living goes up

At first it seems nice for the people who were getting paid less, but it evens out to the same thing pretty fast. Its one of the reasons prices and unemployment have gone up, as well as illegal under the table work.
It really hurts people making just above minimum wage the most, cuz they don't get a raise but their cost of living goes up.

What you say is true if there is no minimum wage. Competition does apply, but in regards to shipping our jobs overseas because labor there is cheaper. That helps with cost of living, but not with jobs.
Raising minimum wage doesn't magically increase the amount of money in the system. It simply requires employers to pay more to workers lower on the pay scale. That money has to come from somewhere. They eventually charge it to the customer, so cost of living goes up.

So even though the Fed created a good boom in the 90's, when Cain happened to be part of it, the Fed is now realized to be a huge cancer on this country because it created the current bust, and it's prolonging. @weetoy69 No offense taken. On the "Replacing Obamacare", he's not wanting to get rid of medical insurance. He and all other candidates want to repeal Obamacare. Paul wants it to be the individual's choice on whether to have insurance or not. Obamacare REQUIRES all people to have some form of insurance or fines will be levied. Paul is not getting rid of insurance, he wants big gov't to stop forcing citizens to have it. Insurance allows dr's to charge higher prices, thus feeding inflation.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, I would just like to see more people having accurate and educated opinions. We ought to look at the reasons why many families just can't afford healthcare in this country, why is it so expensive? Why technology in medicine increases the cost? Do we have free markets or crony capitalism when it comes to medicine and healthcare? Why poor people can afford new technologies but not HC?

I'm an atheist and he has some religious viewpoints, but sticks to the constitution and doesn't let his emotions reflect on his vote. He's also even a bit extreme for me in a few issues involving the free market. However Ron Paul is not only the BEST candidate he's the ONLY candidate worth voting for!

I understand your frustration. I think Ron Paul might have been misrepresented to you. Ron Paul is one of the only people who wants to stop giving your money to the big corporations that are stealing from you.
The minimum wage is really an illusion. If you look at it, you will notice that the cost of living goes up when minimum wage is increased. Rich people don't want to take the cut, they pass it on to you. The people who pay are us who don't get a raise, but cost of living goes up

If a white man and a woman offer to work, and you could only pick one for minimum wage, which person would you pick. The statistics are backing me up on this.

Minimum wage just raises the cost of living. Employers lay off employees or raise prices. Eventually you pay more for everything. At first it seems nice for the people who were getting paid less, but it evens out to the same thing pretty fast. Its one of the reasons prices and unemployment have gone up, as well as illegal under the table work.
It really hurts people making just above minimum wage the most, cuz they don't get a raise but their cost of living goes up.

That's absurd because competition ensures that cost of living doesn't go up.
Employers are always struggling to find workers, so they won't just rip them off and pay them small wages, they find what's best for them, sometimes going below minimum wage. For example, when hiring teenagers.
Also, prices won't go up because when prices go up, another competitor could have an advantage and lower their prices, getting more customers.

What you say is true if there is no minimum wage. Competition does apply, but in regards to shipping our jobs overseas because labor there is cheaper. That helps with cost of living, but not with jobs.
Raising minimum wage doesn't magically increase the amount of money in the system. It simply requires employers to pay more to workers lower on the pay scale. That money has to come from somewhere. They eventually charge it to the customer, so cost of living goes up.

Though there is a huge obstacle/ complication on how the federal reserves mess will be fixed... (its depts made to many foreign nations, particularly China) Foreign countries holding dollars as a reserve currency may be downgraded. US living standards may go down for a period of time, but a brighter and more just future is insured. Stop your name calling child, grow up.
