Saw SHINYRIBS when I was in Austin - 2009. It was at the Club D'Ville. I was watching some band trying to be U2... Before they took a break, they brought up Shinyribs and a woman who played electric violin in a Shiny blue dress. Together, they played only two songs.
They FRIGGIN' ROCKED the house! I never heard a band get better so fast. The band should have fired their Bonoesq lead singer and hired Shinyribs and the violinist on the spot. A terrible band made EXCELLENT by Shinyrib!
