Unfortunately they will only have one at the 2010 TT....they cost £260,000 and thats just for the camera, another £80,000 for the lens and a few grand more for a tripod and we are getting close......glad you like the shots, I took all the Hi-Motion at the 2009 TT!!

I am a retired roadracer and seeing this makes me crazy. The sport is amazing to participate in. If you think you want to try it, just do it. You will not be sorry. It is like being the pilot of an F1 car except it costs lots less. You can get on the track for as little as 10k US and that is with a nice bike. There is nothing like pinning the throttle coming out of a turn and the rear doing a little dance. It would make the hairs stand up on my neck EVERY time I did it (over 10 years exp).

You are closer than the guy above....the Isle of Man TT has NEVER been shot in any kind of slow motion prior to 2009,slowed down footage from standard 25 frames per second camera yes but not slow motion

As for the camera that shot this material, without getting too nerdy, its the Arri Hi-Motion camera, shot at 300 frames per second but we did shoot some at a mighty 600 frames, amazing pics as you will agree.

I was the camera operator that shot every frame of high speed material at the TT!

Hello there, unfortunately you can NOT replicate these shots with any camera other than the hi def Arri Hi-Motion camera. these cameras cost £260,000, yes £260,000, the lens used was another £80,000 on top and accessories, then you need a recorder as its only a camera!!

Thats why the pictures are so smooth when slowed right down......at a huge price!
