  • I know the most useless italian phrases and tira mi sù means take me up (up referring to heaven)

and damn it's one tasty dessert.

  • Comment removed

  • Yes my little Mameshiba, i did know that.

  • Tira mi su directly translates to 'take me up'

  • Grandpa's relatively minor back injury soon grew worse. Near the end, he was begging for release from the unbearable pain, which was finally granted to him by the cocoa bean, returning through his hospice window and carrying a scythe.

  • HA! i DID know that! Thank you, Kitchen princess!

  • @General2528342 Someone else outsmarted the cocoa mameshiba?!

    I'm not alone~ >w<

  • WRONG. I am italian and "tiramisu" means "cheer me up". Way to spread wrong facts, bean.

  • he is alive you stupid bean

  • I was expecting Mameshiba to have a deep, husky voice. Barry White-ish voice, then saying YO~

  • This was cute! X3

  • ...these seeds are like... experts in the art of trolling

  • okay now i watche all 20 mameshiba videos... why did i do that?

    well... cause they're cute! :D

  • @sossendip No, you're wrong, they are fucking disgusting, but God, i mean, i can't stop.

  • I've seen so many of these episodes I know how to say "Did you know?" in Japanese.

  • () ◕ ᵜ ◕ () ϡ Did you know?

Tiramisu actually means "Pick me up," because it has caffeine in it!

  • A Wild Mameshiba apparead !

    -♫ ♫ ♫-

    Old men use "to eat"

    Mameshiba use "to learn"

    Old men is K.O

    Mameshiba win !

    -♫ ♫ ♫-

  • that's not true. it means "cheer me up".

  • I demand more!!!!

  • the old man looks like the "Okay" guy from the internet.

  • @KamikazeLive "from the internet"

  • @KamikazeLive "from the internet". aha.

  • @Sener

Sorry, I meant, "From Rage Comics". Lol I know how detail oriented the internet can get.

  • @KamikazeLive lol I wasn't correcting you, I just thought it was funny how the okay guy is considered from "the internet".

  • WHAT NO MORE? WHYYY?

  • ROTFL XD

  • I now know that "Neste ul" in Japanese means "did you know?" in english.

  • @DoctorPhilms Actually, it's "Nee, shiteru".

  • @blacktimcampy dam even better lol i knew mine was wrong.

  • @DoctorPhilms That isn't correct. It's "Nee, shiteru?"

  • @spreadtherandomvibe Not correct. It's "Nee, shitteru".

  • OMG I SAW THIS WHEN I WAS IN JAPAN LOL

  • cute

  • I wouldnt yell at it, I'd probably tell it some random weird fact and see what it did XD

  • If something was wriggling around in my food I would have went eayaahhhhhhhhh and threw it into the wind already. Mameshiba would've been flying going eayahhhhh SUPERMAN!!

  • + tiramisu mean pull me up in fact :B

    tira=pull mi=me su=up

  • um isn't it like pick me up ore something like that in italian?

  • Tiramisu is wine I thought

  • @ilovepuppies312 it uses marsala wine but is often replaced with dark rum, brandy, or cognac

  • Is this the last episode D; x(

  • @ilovepuppies312 and it is his birthday tomorrow :D

  • Well, actually "tiramisu" doesn't really mean "take me to heaven"... it's more like "cheer me up", but don't worry little cocoa mameshiba, it's okay.

i will check all the ingredients before making tiramisu again from now on though.

  • I watched all of these and I'm still not really sure what the are. I think the Mameshiba are beans that try to make humans miserable, and the Babyshiba are fruit... but I'm not sure if they try to make humans miserable too.

  • So basically these things pop out of your food and spout random trivia? Is that all they do?

  • Ahhhh~ UNGH???? lol

  • Too funny :D

  • This episode kinda reminds me of chibi maruko chan. ^^

  • thank you japanese class for introducing me to this awesome series!

  • @TheEdward4ever:

    XD Mee too LOL

  • wtf are these? they're awesome!!

  • I'm not eating anymore.

  • :O I would figure it was more like, "So good, it's like you're in heaven."

  • is this all of them? :'(

  • () ◕ ᵜ ◕ () ϡ You are reading this. Did you know? All the blinking in one day equates to having your eyes closed for 30 minutes.

  • Who would dislike a video liek this!?!?!?

  • @RoseOfLight1234

    Old people.

  • Nooooo!!!!!! theres no more

  • No, it mean "pick me up".

  • @Eclissatissimo I think it's more like the literal meaning of "cheer me up"

  • @Mythe88 it means "lift me up"

  • @KnightPaladin Litterally yes, but in italian "tirare su qualcuno" it's also translated as "cheer someone up"... I'm Italian and, for what i know, that's the origin of the name, but maybe you're more informed than me :)

  • @Mythe88 I actually thought it was "Pick me up", but either way you can also define the action of lifting someone up or picking them up not just in the physical way but also with their mood. A "pick me up" in English can refer to something to lighten someone's mood or cheer them up. So regardless of literal translation, it could be said that the end meaning remains the same...

  • @Xyalon Yup, didn't know that. Thanks^^

  • @KnightPaladin lol So therefore it should be in japan, Mochiagete.

  • ---girl is still holding spoon----

  • the cake is a lie

  • Thanks for the translation!! :)

  • Actually, tiramisù means "pick me up". There's no reference to heaven or nothing inherent with it.

  • If you think about it, the cocoa bean probably saved the old man from choking to death on an oversized cocoa bean...purposely hidden in a piece of tiramisu by his granddaughter who is after his inheritance! Mystery solved! :O

  • @i3aby913

granddaughter:I would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for you meddling youtubers and your little bean dog too!

  • @i3aby913 Detective Conan would be proud.

  • @i3aby913 And she would've gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!

  • @i3aby913 The phrase he says works too!

  • B-But it says "to be continued"... T^T

  • They forgot Mr. bean D:

  • ... cocoa bean mameshiba is so rude...

  • Did he break his back or did he poop his pants because of the raw cocoa beans?

  • @gebril61 you know old people tend to hurt their back. not really breaking it xD

  • NO MORE MAMESHIBA COMERTIALS?! NO MORE?! NO MORE!!!! NO MOREEEEEEEEEE!!!! WHY?!?!?!

  • i DETEST that "mameshiba" quote said at the start

  • 0:29 it hums?

  • DO MORE MAMESHIBA VIDEOS!!

  • I'M STILL ALIVE AND ACTIVE!

  • Ok I just saw all 22 videos and all I can say is KAWAII <3 LOL

  • tiramisu actually literally translates to "pick me up" in italian, like how we consider coffee to be a pick-me-up here. the dessert itself has coffee in it.

    IGNORANT LITTLE MAMESHIBA.

  • Take me to heaven is what people in japan say when they're about to climax

  • The little brat wasn't planning for gramps to find out! ASSASINATION ATTEMPT=FAILURE!!!

  • Why does this remind me of Chibi Maruko-chan... o-o;;

  • Atleast it doesn't mean "Go to hell" xD

  • @espiogirl

    Too true!

  • I would seriously be freaking out if I saw this.

  • Hahahaha!!! XD Certo, come no!! Vuol dire "tirarsi su", non c'entra il paradiso! XD Mameshiba!!!!

  • Geeeeeenki-*CRACK*

  • I'm italian but Tiramisù doesn't mean what they say. :)

  • the english subtitles are partially cut off from 14 on. How are people translating without the japanese characters?

  • now im going to have to watch out when im eating tiramisu.... ill swallow a huge cocoa bean, coke and go to heaven..

  • it means " pick me up" not " take me to haven"

  • The old man is wearing a haramaki, like Zoro. :3

  • how do these mameshibas live? do they eat other beans as long as they have to until someone picks them up so they can freak you out with some random trivia?

  • Why isn't there a 21? MAMESHIBA SAID IT WOULD CONTINUE!

  • He should have died.

  • What I've mainly gained from this series of episodes is that I should watch out for small bean things because they'll troll the socks off me and put me off my food :l

  • ehh...they should be called Trollshiba

  • reminds me of dangos from Clannad.

Except that they talk and disgust you.

  • wow i watched all these videos in one day

  • reminds me of Chibi Maruko-chan for some reason.

  • I think these things are all the rage in stores now, like Beanie Babies in the 90's. Shouldn't be much longer until Mameshiba: the anime series.
